    NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for the week of February 28th reveal there’s a proposal ahead. And in the Monday spoilers, we assumed this was going to be an interesting time. However, the weekly promo revealed we had no idea. Let’s take a look at what’s next.

    NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Love In The Air

    So, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal last week was about love—at least, in part. The show brought a little late Valentine’s action following its Olympic break. However, it wasn’t all great. After all, just look at what happened with Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) and Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash). Plus, we’re not even going to get into the breakup in the Salem PD.

    However, Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) was ready to make up for things. He went to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) for permission to propose to Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). Then, he accepted an heirloom from Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) to actually make his plan happen. And it looks like he has quite the night set.

    We have to say, he plans a nice romantic night. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal there will be lights and a meal outdoors, and it looks like the perfect setting. And, as planned, the video shows he will actually pop the question. Everything seems perfect. However, this is Salem. So we knew it couldn’t end well. We just had no idea how bad it would get.

    We all know the writers aren’t generous with weddings. It seems like it’s been one heartbreaking disaster after enough for Salem residents. And even if the couple makes it to the “I do,” it is rarely a day they’ll want to look back on fondly. With the secret Allie is carrying around, we expected this one to blow up as well. But this isn’t a wedding disaster ahead.

    See, it seems they’ll barely get through the proposal. It’s clear Tripp gets the question out, and we’re assuming she’ll give him the answer he wants. However, Demon Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will appear as the couple seems to be celebrating their good news. He’ll ask Tripp if he knows about Allie’s night with Chanel DuPree (Raven Bownes), and it looks like Tripp’s reaction will be to break off the engagement—likely within minutes or hours of it being official.

    We’re not sure how Chanel and Johnny both end up at the celebration. We’re guessing Johnny’s appearance there will be a more chance situation. It’s just not likely Allie will want to call her brother to come down and share their good fortune. What we do know is, not everyone will agree with Tripp breaking it off.

    In the promo, Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) asks if Tripp can find it in his heart to forgive Allie. She’s not a great advocate, in our opinion. With the lie she’s keeping from Roman, she’ll be the next one to get the boot. But we guess it’s nice of her to try making things better. However, we think the rift between Allie and Tripp is one that will take a long time to fix. If it can be.
