NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller) has an enemy in her home. Of course, we’d be referring to Gwen Davies (Emily O’Brien). And despite a couple of obvious weird moments, no one is really questioning this strange girl.
One that even her ex, Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash), warned them is trouble. Let’s take a look at some of the talk online, what clues were offered Monday, and what we’d like to see.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The background
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Gwen obviously has a grudge against Abigail, and a good reason to have Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) creation. However, when she visited Rolf for more after she lost the dosage she tried to give Abigail, she never explained herself.
Rolf asked, of course. However, she told him he’d find out what her issue is when everyone else does. Nice, huh? So far, we have had a couple of clues.

One, obviously, was her attitude. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate she was quite emphatic about the personal grudge she’s got. On Monday, we got what looks to be a clue or two. Gwen made several comments during the episode that hinted at a bad family life.
She mused it must be nice for Abigail to have supportive parents there for her. Two, she also alluded to how a bad situation can do the opposite it has for Abigail’s family. As in, completely destroy them. It’s obvious Gwen blames Abigail for what she experience, whatever it might be. So, what’s the talk online?
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Theory/What we’d like to see
One thing that we found interesting was when Miller looked at a picture of Abigail, only to have Mansi’s face staring back at her. Then, it went back to Miller’s after Abigail asked Chad who that was.
There was an article and fan speculation about how it’s possible both actresses will be on screen together soon. We would love to see that. Here’s how we’d love to see it happen.
First, we think it would be a fun twist if whatever Abbi did that earned Gwen’s ire wasn’t even her, per se. Maybe something she did as Gabby-with-a-Y. And given she wouldn’t have been in a great state of mind at the time, she might not remember as Abbi. Or, she at least blocked it out due to being too traumatic and shameful.
Secondly, we’d love if Gwen knows that and she’s trying to bring back Gabby-with-a-Y to destroy the personality that actually did whatever it was. Bonus points for the other side to Abbi’s personality being gone too, as far as she’s concerned.
This is where we think the two Abbis could be great. Miller could play the real Abbi, while Mansi stepped in to be the Gabby side. This could lead to some great moments between the two actresses, as the different sides of this character fight each other. The picture swap seems to hint at it.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Karma?
We think it’s about time, if this is the case. We’ve always kind of had an issue with how everyone dismisses what Gabby-with-a-Y did to Gabi. And we really haven’t seen Abigail express any real remorse for the part she played in making Gabi what she is today.
It’d be a reality check for the character and her family, as they always act like she’s this shining example of perfection no matter what. And, TBH, Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) can be a bit full of herself as well.
In fact, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) can be like that as well, although he seems a little more aware of his flaws here and there. Whatever happens, this should be an interesting story ahead.
