First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate the mystery around Gwen has been playing out a while. She’s hinted in conversations with Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) she has excellent reasons for hating Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller) and her family.
However, they never showed her confession to Dr. Rolf. Now we know. When Jack and Jennifer found out she’s still planning to come after they family, they went to the Salem Inn and confronted her.
There, she admitted she was Jack’s daughter. Then she gave a huge sob story about how she grew up with a mother who couldn’t provide for her. She detailed a time when her mother brought her to Salem and came back to their hotel room, crying.
Why? Because Jack had refused to do a thing for her and Gwen. Of course, she also said money started coming, which her mother wasted on drugs. When her mother died, the money stopped coming and Gwen was a made a ward of the State in England.
Apparently, tickets there to stay with someone her mother knew was one of the few somewhat good things her mother did with the money. This was a huge bombshell for Jennifer, obviously. But what about Jack?

First, we thought he was trapped for a second. There was a look on his face that made us wonder if he realized she’s being honest. However, this quickly gave way to denials. Very firm ones, in fact. Gwen continued to insist he’s a deadbeat dad, and eventually kicked him out. Here’s why we believe her and what we think happened.

See, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Jack asked Gwen what amount of money she was looking for. Gwen was clearly genuinely insulted by the offer. And the emotion in her voice as she recounted everything struck us as sincere. However, we also believe Jack when he says he has no clue what she’s talking about. How can that be?
Well, we think this related to his amnesiac phase. For a while, he had no idea who he was, much less what he might have done in the past. It’s very likely he still has some holes in his memory he’s unaware of, and this could be one.
The evidence is there for that to be the case. The writers went out of their way to mention not only Jack’s rape of Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans), but also how he abandoned Jennifer and the kids before. If this is the case, things could get fun. And it makes us wonder what other surprises from his past might pop up.
