‘Love in Paradise’ Spoilers tells that we haven’t really thought about what Arryanna was going to name her baby. However, Sherlon has some ideas about what he wants to name his son, and that is after the norse god Odin. He says that the name has special meaning to him but Arryanna doesn’t really like the name, and she says that her family doesn’t really like the name, specifically her Dad.
Her Mom was a bit more open to the idea of her Grandson being named after a member of the norse pantheon. That’s not the only name they’re having a fight over, apparently Arryanna isn’t really keen on the baby having a different last name than her.
‘Love in Paradise’: Sherlon is descended from Vikings?
This really isn’t all that difficult to believe due to the fact that Sherlon is not married to Arryanna yet, and he says that he should not be forced to get married yet. However he says if the bay doesn’t carry on his name then he is nobody. Arryanna says that it would be easier for all of the family to have the same last name since the baby us essentially going to be around her family more.
She’s more concerned about how things will look to the outside world, it seems, because they are not married and its going to be really obvious if her kid doesn’t have the same last name as her but if one subscribes to a more traditional way of thinking then normally the child does take on the Father’s last name, even if the parents aren’t married.
A few people are going to question why on earth Sherlon would want to name his child after a norse god, he says for him its an ancestral name and that his ancestors were vikings. Some people are going to side eye that claim, but upon further research we find put that Sherlon is actually not wrong. There is actual historical evidence of black vikings, were they born in Scandanavia?
No, but unlike some dark parts in history, black vikings had a history of traveling to Scandinavia (notably Denmark) because they wanted to, not because of the more common, much darker and sadder reason, slavery. Yes, there were some instances of that, but most just assimilated into viking society because they actually wanted to be there. You learn something new every day. Stay tuned!!!
