Jeffree Star is proof that sometimes you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t. In the wake up is near fatal accident, he has posted updates on twitter, instagram, and snapchat saying that even though he was in terrific pain that he is still trying to find the humor in that situation and even while the paramedics were cutting his clothes off of him at the accident and he was screaming in agony he was still cracking jokes. Now, any other influencer, people would be admiring their strength.
However with Jeffree people are starting to doubt the severity of his injuries because he can be up walking around on his stories on IG and snapchat and not be doubled over in pain. Jeffree said on his stories that he is not really one to take pills, but if he doesn’t the pain is so bad that he can hardly exist. As someone who’s had a back injury before, let’s just lay off Jeffree.
Jeffree Star comes under fire for post-accident updates
If he says he’s in pain (no matter what that looks like) and there’s a police report and medical reports saying that his injuries are just that severe then maybe we need to just believe the guy and move on.
Yes, no doubt that Jeffree has had accountability problems in the past, and he has hurt people and let’s face it he probably chopped off his long locks because the secrets they held were too much to bear, but his life wasn’t the only one at stake.
His friend Daniel Lucas sustained internal injuries that he is having to have surgery for in Las Vegas because of is previous surgeries from colon cancer. Also, not all spinal fractures look like the one illustrated in Mean Girls, depending on the severity of the injuries, sometimes it just takes a back brace in order to be able to heal – that doesn’t make it any less painful however.
Jeffree called out the haters once saying, “For those of you wishing death on Daniel and I, we pray that you find happiness within yourself.” all things considered, he’s being an incredibly good sport about all of the hate comments.
All that being said, do we have to say that Jeffree’s a saint? No. Do we have to say that he’s changed his ways? No, because he’s never once said that. But do we need to give him a break and just have some empathy for him on a human level because he was in an accident? Yes, most definitely. Stay tuned!!!
