British Royal Family News says that no one is buying Prince Harry’s “subconscious bias’ comments, especially those who know him and his past. While the Duke of Sussex recently said that he never did realize what kind of power and privilege he has as a royal, those who remember the ‘real Harry’ from the past say that he isn’t the innocent chap that he and Meghan Markle want you to believe that he is. Here’s what you need to know.

In an interview with True Royalty TV, royal expert and author Robert Johnson says that Harry’s recent comments about his subconscious racial bias is nothing more than “bare faced hypocrisy.”

“I remember him making racial slurs about an Asian officer which was filmed by himself and distributed by his friends and he had to apologize for making racial comments,” Jobson said. “I find Harry telling everyone else that they are structurally racist hypocritical.”

This comes after Prince Harry pledged to tackle institutional racism, while also calling it an epidemic in a new clip posted on his mother Princess Diana’s birthday. Here’s what he has to say.

In a message posted to the Diana Award Instagram account, Prince Harry wrote, “Institutional racism has no place in our societies. Yet it is still endemic. I want you to know that we are committed to being part of the solution and to being part of the change that you are leading.”

The Duke of Sussex also said he was “sorry that we haven’t got the world to a place you deserve it to be” and that, “unconscious bias must be acknowledged without blame to create a better world.”
