Girls Gone Wild creator, Joe Francis is never short of drama in his life, and this holiday season has been no different.
According to the American entrepreneur who lives in Mexico, his estranged wife, Abbey Wilson has ignored a court order to allow him to see his children, twin 7 year old girls Athena and Alexandria. Francis asserts he was supposed to have the girls on Christmas, but Wilson never showed. All in all, the girls have not been seen in 10 days.
Wilson has also been accused of family violence, however, law enforcement has been unable to serve her as she has effectively “fallen off the grid”.
‘Girls Gone Wild’ Creator Joe Francis Claims Ex Has Kidnapped His Children.
However, though Francis has claimed on his social media accounts that Wilson kidnapped the children and an Amber Alert was forthcoming, Wilson’s lawyer, Ronald Richards (yep, the very same who was on, then off the Erika Girardi case) has said that Francis’ claims are categorically false.
Richards attests that not only is his client not missing, but she also has full, temporary custody of her children. The lawyer went on to claim that Francis is the abusive one and has not provided any child support in more than a year.
Francis, a close, personal friend of the Kardashian clan, doesn’t have the cleanest of records. At various times throughout his life, he has been convicted of tax evasion, bribery, false imprisonment, assault causing great bodily injury, dissuading a witness, and record-keeping violations. As far back as 2003, he pleaded no contest to child abuse and prostitution when four girls claimed he filmed them for Girls Gone Wild when they were minors.
More recently he filed for bankruptcy and fled to Mexico so Steve Wynn’s Las Vegas casino could not take the company’s assets after he failed to pay $2 million in unpaid gambling debts.
The last time Francis made the news, was in August of 2020. Diagnosed with Covid-19 one day earlier, he was taken into custody for grabbing a woman by the neck and spitting at her in an attempt to give her the virus.
Stellar guy.
The charges were dropped on the condition that Francis attend six months of psychological therapy. Mexican authorities claim the six months were completed. Instead, the 48-year-old has been blowing up Instagram with complaints about Wilson, stating that his 33-year-old ex stole $250,000 from him and “kidnapped” the children “out of their sleep”.
“What a Golddigger,” Francis wrote. “Abbey Wilson is holding my daughter’s hostage and trying to get money out of me. It is plain and simple.” In September 2021 he claimed Wilson is a “child abuser”.
Everyone can only hope the two little girls are safe.
