‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) may take Gio Palmeri’s (Giovanni Mazza) advice to heart and invite the Quartermaine family to come back home.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Tracy Felt Understandably Betrayed By Her Family
We do have to say, off the bat, that we were Team Tracy when she threw everyone out of the house. We can understand Tracy’s frustration with her loved ones, who chose to side with the woman who tried to steal the family mansion.
That said, we had to feel for Veronica Bard (Erika Slezak) when she was so touched that Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) gave her the money to purchase the house of her choice in the neighborhood of Duke Forest in Durham, North Carolina.
We could see that Ronnie was genuinely sorry for going along with Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) plan to sell the house to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) of all people.
Yet, we understand Tracy felt betrayed by her own family when they took the side of the “interloper” over her. If Tracy had forgiven Ronnie and immediately made peace, she wouldn’t be the Tracy Quartermaine we know and love.
We also couldn’t help but smile when we saw the emotion on Tracy’s face after Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) revealed that Monica really left the house to her.
No one deserves that house more than Tracy. She’s protected the family and the Quartermaine name for years. However, Gio was 100 percent right that Monica didn’t simply leave a house to Tracy.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Monica Trusted Tracy With The People She Left Behind When She Passed
Monica left her family in Tracy’s care as the new Quartermaine matriarch. What Monica had truly entrusted Tracy with was the people she was leaving behind when she passed. Hopefully, Tracy only threw everyone out temporarily to teach them a lesson.
Leave it to Gio to be the voice of reason. We’re also happy to see that Gio has finally moved past his anger at Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) for giving him up as a baby.
We have to wonder whether Gio will eventually move back into the Quartermaines. He’s living with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) right now, but he belongs in his rightful place at the Qs.
Tracy adores her grandson, and Gio had already been thinking about moving back into the mansion when Ronnie invited him to come back.
Gio also seems to have a deep understanding of what it means to be family. He appreciates the Quartermaines for their flaws and all.
We have a feeling it’s only a matter of time before Gio moves back in with the Qs and develops a loving bond with his mom, Brook Lynn.
It would also be fun to see Tracy reward the adorable “stray,” Outback, for her role in helping to prevent the sale of the mansion.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Tracy Will Put Her Pride To The Side And Get Her Family Back
Outback is a very good girl, and she could obviously sense that Drew is evil. Outback’s heroic act of retrieving the sale papers gave Ronnie time to reconsider.
Tracy should allow Outback in the main house whenever she wants and give her a proper steak dinner.
It’s inevitable that Tracy put her pride aside and convince her family to move back in, despite the fact that it’s the rest of the family who owes Tracy an apology. If it means making nice with Ronnie, so be it.
We don’t blame Tracy one bit for initially throwing Ronnie out of the mansion, but hopefully, they eventually make peace for Monica’s sake. We would love to see Slezak return for another short stint.
As far as Ronnie and Tracy are concerned, we’re incredibly sad to see Erika Slezak leaving so soon. It would have been wonderful to see her and Tracy become close. It wouldn’t happen immediately, but we’re willing to bet that’s what Monica would have wanted.
We can’t wait to see how this turns out, and we hope that Tracy brings her family back home where they belong.
