‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers: GH fans knew that they were dealing with a character from Port Charles’s past when John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) first showed up at Bobbie’s.
After mentioning to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) that he used to work there, we felt this would be interesting.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: John is Really Jagger Cates
Jagger is an FBI agent who broke up Anna Devane‘s (Finola Hughes) and Jordan Ashford‘s (Tanisha Harper) interrogation. Bursting into the hotel room, John demanded hands up.
Anna immediately recognized him, even though viewers were still puzzled. When she called out “Jagger,” we felt a little better. This guy was Robin Scorpio‘s (Kimberly McCollough) good friend. Surely, he wouldn’t arrest Anna Devane, would he?
But that’s precisely what he did. John has come to spice up the Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) story. Anna and Jordan were on the hunt for whoever shot Curtis and left him paralyzed.
Anna has been burned before. She may not think she’s ready for another relationship, but she may find herself attracted to John. The two seem to be at odds, but that’s what makes for great chemistry between characters: conflict.
Anna just took the job as Police Commissioner so that John would not be able to keep her from investigating the shooting.
When Anna suddenly told John she accepted the job, he couldn’t have looked more irritated. However, we all know things can heat up when two characters are sniping and fighting against each other.
Since John is with the FBI, he will work on the case. The two may find themselves entangled, possibly working together to find the shooter.
However, we think the story will go in the other direction. Knowing Anna’s thirst for justice, she won’t allow pesky rules to get in her way.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Anna Wants to Find Out Who the Shooter Is
Anna wants to find out who the shooter is who ambushed Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), shooting at him on his private island in Puerto Rico.
She also thinks she may have been the target on that fateful day at the Metro Court. Anna is determined to put the puzzle pieces together.
John thinks that Anna is trying to protect Sonny. But Anna is doing what Anna does best, trying to seek the truth.
After Anna informed John she was now the police commissioner, she also told him that if he wanted the PCPD’s help, she would need the FBI to cooperate with her.
Anna will not give up until she finds the shooter, which means John and Anna may be forced to work together.
They will clash, yet still feel a pull towards each other. Since it looks like Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna are over, Anna may start to think of John differently. At first, she keeps it to herself and tries to ignore her emotions.
They may find themselves drawn to each other, all the while claiming they can’t stand each other until they admit their true feelings.
GH spoilers indicate that John and Anna will start to get to know each other, and one thing will lead to another. A romance may be brewing between the FBI agent and the police commissioner.
