‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) may intervene if Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) doesn’t end her relationship with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason Warned Carly He’d Kill Brennan If Anything Happened To Her
Carly has never allowed anyone to tell her what to do. She likes to live dangerously, as evidenced by her several marriages to mob boss Sonny Corinthos and her decades-long friendship with his enforcer, Jason.
Carly and Jack had a deep conversation about their romantic standing in the March 25th episode of GH. Not long after having sex with Brennan for the first time, Carly drank poisoned champagne and almost died thanks to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Sonny and Jason can’t ignore that. Jason even warned Carly that if anything happened to her while she was with Brennan, he’d kill him. We all know that when Jason makes a threat like that, he is serious.
Carly warned Brennan, who didn’t even flinch as he expressed to Carly with twinkling eyes that he needed her.
He explained that while he understood that if she wanted to stop seeing him, he needed her, and she admitted she couldn’t just walk away.
Both of them want to explore their connection and continue to spend time together. However, Sonny and Jason, in particular, feel Brennan is too dangerous for her, which would almost be funny if it wasn’t so hypocritical.
Everyone is warning Carly away from Brennan. Lucas Jones (Van Hasis) was quite alarmed by the recent development that landed Carly in the hospital.
He suggested Carly date someone boring, like a dentist. Somehow, we don’t see Carly taking that advice.
Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) gave Carly an earful about the danger that surrounds the WSB, as she had her own experiences with the organization when she was married to Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Carly Isn’t Intimidated By Brennan’s Enemies
Jack’s work at the WSB means that he has formidable enemies worldwide who would love to see him dead. Carly understands that, and it is her life.
Carly isn’t intimidated by Brennan’s enemies, nor will she back down without a fight. She’s fallen hard for Jack, and she’ll stand by him. even if Sonny and Jason try to make Brennan pay for Valentin’s mistake.
Brennan’s recruitment of Carly’s daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), for the WSB could destroy their relationship anyway. We highly doubt Carly will be too thrilled about her daughter working for him.
However, Jack sees potential in Joss and recognizes her thirst for justice. He’s the type of man willing to risk his own love life for the greater good.
We never thought we’d warm up to Chris McKenna as Jack Brennan after falling in love with Charles Mesure. Still, he has won us over as this incarnation of the WSB Chief, which admittedly is much different from the original.
Despite the sudden recast of Brennan in early February, Chris McKenna has stepped into the role beautifully.
He exudes a certain charm and appeal. Even though he’s not Charles Mesure, he’s succeeded in making the part his own. We enjoy seeing Carly completely smitten and blissfully happy for however long it may last.
