‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that the soap could be setting up a who killed Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) murder mystery.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Carly And Nina Want Drew Gone
GH has dropped several clues that Drew is about to go down. It seems that almost everyone in Port Charles wants him gone.
We saw Mama Bear Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Mama Bear Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) both agree that the sleazy congressman needs to go.
A couple of weeks ago, Carly and Nina were in her office at Crimson, and Carly asked Nina point blank: how far would you go to get rid of Drew?
It would be so much fun to see the two rivals form a pact to take Drew out. Watching them team up to cover up Drew’s murder would be delicious.
Days of Our Lives had a similar story when rivals Sami Brady (Allison Sweeny), Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), and Gabi Hernandez (then Camilla Banus) “murdered” Nick Fallon (Blake Berris).
Laura Wright and Cynthia Watros are pure soap gold and work beautifully as rivals and frenemies. The two ladies certainly have the motive to want to kill Drew.
Drew broke up Carly’s son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and Willow Tait Corinthos’s (Katelyn MacMullen) marriage. Nina wants nothing more than to get Drew away from her daughter, Willow.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Drew Is Blackmailing Portia
Another person who has a major beef with Drew is Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Recently, Portia sought Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) advice concerning Drew’s blackmailing scheme after Selina Wu (Lydia Look) gave Drew the perfect ammunition.
Portia changed Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) test results because she wanted to ensure Heather remained in prison and away from her daughter, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
Portia and Ava were discussing the situation when Portia seemed to foreshadow Drew’s impending downfall and said, “Unless Drew’s dead.”
Drew has made countless enemies. Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is another one of them. Spoilers hint that this week, Tracy calls the cops on Drew and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight).
We feel that the tables will be turned, and Tracy will be the one who ends up getting arrested. Even Selina or Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rotta) could off Drew if he double-crosses either one of them.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) pummeled Drew and beat the living snot out of him for interfering in Michael and Willow’s marriage.
He also announced to everyone at the Metro Court that Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) is pregnant with Jason’s baby.
In addition, Drew refused to provide Jason with an alibi when he was arrested for Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) murder, despite the fact that Jason was telling the truth.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Drew Is One Of The Most Hated Characters On GH
We think that, with Jason, Drew would need to threaten someone Jason loves so that he can take action. Drew’s next move could result in him being murdered by his twin brother.
We may soon see Drew getting shot, but the soap will not reveal who the killer is for a while. It could literally be anybody. Drew’s character has taken a disappointing turn in the past couple of years.
Drew was once a good guy who helped people. Now, he’s nothing but a letch. When Billy Miller played Drew, he most likely wouldn’t have been portrayed this way.
Miller’s Drew was more relatable, and he brought depth and complexity to the character. Mathison’s Drew went from a goody-goody Hallmark knockoff to a significant sleaze bucket.
While Mathison is a talented actor, Drew has become one-dimensional, lacks depth, and has become one of the most hated characters on GH.
When fans can no longer stand to watch a character and they turn evil, sometimes it’s difficult for the character to be redeemed. That’s why we think Drew’s storyline will end with a bang.
