‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nina Is Afraid Of Losing Willow
Nina is holding onto a secret that could motivate Willow Tait Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) to sever ties with Drew for good.
Willow’s mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), first slept with Drew in April 2024. It’s been almost a year since their torrid trysts in Nina’s office took place, and Willow still has no idea.
A year in the soap world is much shorter than in the real world. Nina has been sitting on this secret for far too long.
Waiting for the truth about Nina’s role in turning Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) into the SEC to be revealed is starting to look far less frustrating by comparison.
Nina is understandably afraid that if she tells Willow the truth, she’ll lose her daughter. Nina and Willow didn’t always share the special bond they do today.
The two ladies started their relationship by despising each other. Even when Willow found out that Nina was her mother, she wasn’t willing to give Nina a chance.
It wasn’t until much later on that Willow was ready to welcome Nina into her life. Since then, they have developed a real mother-daughter relationship.
Nina doesn’t want to rock the boat. However, Nina is determined to stop Willow from moving her and the kids into Drew’s home.
Nina is becoming desperate, and if she truly feels that Drew is toxic for her daughter, not to mention her grandkids, she should speak up and tell her she had an affair with Drew before Willow makes a huge mistake.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Wake-Up Willow
Nina’s concern is certainly valid, as Willow spent months confiding in Nina about her feelings for Drew, and Nina never said a word.
Willow would likely feel betrayed by her mother and decide to cut her out of her life again. It’s hard to imagine the revelation wouldn’t affect Nina’s bond with Willow, especially considering how Willow constantly defends Drew.
Willow may even forgive Drew, but not Nina. We can see that being the case since Willow is brainwashed by Drew as if she’s in a cult.
It’s not a coincidence that Drew’s house is the same Shiloh, aka David Henry Archer, played by (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) used for Dawn of Day.
Willow can’t see the truth about Drew because she’s deluded herself into believing that Drew is a good man. Apparently, he doesn’t lie, cheat, or selfishly do whatever it takes to get his way.
However, Drew is a sleaze who slept with Willow’s mother and never bothered to mention this to her.
Willow foolishly blew up her marriage to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) for Drew without knowing the kind of man Drew really is.
It’s no wonder fans are sick of both Willow and Drew. Drew is a master schemer, and no matter who tries to get Willow to wake- up and see the truth about Drew, no one can get through to her.
Nina could try. It would be best for everyone involved, especially the fans who have waited too long for this secret to come out.
