‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Willow Tait Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) may be becoming too much like her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and evil sister, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Willow And Drew Are Offensive To Watch
Until now, Willow was supposed to be the quintessential “good girl” and someone with strong moral character.
She loved Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) with all her heart and would do anything for her children, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko).
Willow was overjoyed and thankful when she found the family she always wanted in the Corinthios and Quartermaine clans.
We used to know Willow, but now the parallels between Willow, Nina, and Nelle seem to overlap.
Much of Willow’s change is directly related to her relationship with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) and his manipulation of her.
It was offensive to watch Willow and Drew have sex in Scout Quartermaine‘s (Cosette Abinate) playroom. A child could have easily wandered into the room and seen them.
Instead, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) accidentally played the recording for their family and guests at the Quartermaine Christmas party.
Afterward, Willow seemed far more concerned that Michael knew the pair did the dirty deed rather than caring about her husband’s pain. Her reaction was cold-hearted and lacking remorse.
Things went from bad to worse after the party when Nina convinced Willow to take the kids to her house for Christmas.
Nina took it upon herself to get involved and hired Martin Grey (Michael E Knight) to defend her daughter in the divorce and impending custody case. She didn’t bother to ask Willow how she felt.
Instead, Willow went along with her mother, prompting us to ponder if Nina was rubbing off on Willow.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Willow Needs A Good Therapist
Without Michael’s consent, Drew and Willow took Wiley to Washington, DC. That was a very hurtful move for Willow to make. Once again, Michael’s feelings don’t seem to matter to her. It was like she was throwing her affair with Drew in Michael’s face.
Nelle also went up against Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Now, Willow has declared war on Carly, too. The minute she took those kids to Nina’s, the writing was on the wall.
Willow will no doubt fight dirty. We can expect Nina to groom her daughter to “handle” Carly how she would.
Another aspect of this is that Willow spent much of her life in a cult. She doesn’t seem to be able to think for herself, resulting from her time with Dawn of Day and Hank (Shiloh) Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin).
Willow was also shocked and devastated when she found out Michael wanted full custody of their children, although there was much room for conversation as Michael was thinking about what was best for the kids. What exactly did she expect?
We also remember when Willow “died” and was encouraged to return to Michael and their family. That was her reason for living, but suddenly, it was no longer important to her.
Willow may not be a murderer like Nelle or as good of a schemer as Nina, but her recent actions are deplorable. She may need a good therapist to tell her that.
