‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is in the hot seat over Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) digitalis overdose. Liz is thought to be the last person in Sam’s room before her tragic death.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Cyrus Killed Sam On Halloween
Sam’s heart was healthy and strong, and the surgery went with flying colors. No one understood what happened to Sam until the toxicology report.
Right now, there is an investigation into Sam’s demise. It’s suspected that someone accidentally gave Sam digitalis. It just looks like it’s an unspeakably horrible mistake.
But the truth will soon be revealed that Sam’s death was no accident. It was murder. Sam was cruelly killed by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), who snuck into Sam’s room on Halloween.
Cyrus has been “watching over” his niece, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins), who was in a coma and was dying until Sam donated a portion of her liver to Lulu.
Now, Lulu’s awake, and it looks like Cyrus’s motivation for killing Sam was so that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu could reunite and be a family again with their son, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).
Until Sam’s demise, Dante and Sam lived together and had a happy blended family with Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante), and Rocco.
Dante even proposed the day before Sam died, and they planned to marry. However, Cyrus saw Sam as a threat to Lulu. So, he eliminated the threat.
Cyrus operates under the guise that he’s a changed man who found God, but he’s the same demented villain he always was.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Cyrus Stabbed Dex To Put Him In The Hospital
We think Cyrus was the one who stabbed Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) at the Christmas tree lot. Dex knows Cyrus was on the same floor as Lulu and Sam on Halloween. Cyrus doesn’t want to risk the good cop figuring out his dastardly deed.
Now, Dex is in the hospital, and someone attacked him. He thinks it may have been one of the college kids involved in a drunken fight at the Christmas tree lot.
When he went to pour out the booze he confiscated from them, someone came up behind him and stabbed him in the lower back.
Dex was immediately taken to General Hospital and told his recovery should be quick and painless. But soon, he will be left alone and vulnerable in a hospital room.
That will allow Cyrus to sneak into Dex’s room and give him a dose of digitalis. Cyrus’s goal is to keep up the ruse that he’s Godly and good, as he spouts Bible verses and talks about “sinners” being “all around us.”
Cyrus could give Dex a dose of digitalis and possibly kill him. If the toxicology report comes back and it turns out Dex also died of a digitalis overdose, Liz may start to put the pieces of the puzzle together.
Maybe someone saw Cyrus on that hospital floor. Dex could share what he knows about Cyrus lurking around before he’s killed.
No one is buying that Cyrus is somehow reformed. He killed poor Sam, who did nothing wrong to anyone, and she deserves justice.
