‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicates that Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) is ready to start a new life after all she has been through in Port Charles. She really does think that it is time to move away and start from scratch.
She has her things packed and is ready to start afresh in Austin, Texas. Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is disappointed to hear this. He cares about her, but will he tell her how he feels before it is too late?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Enduring Torture
Sasha Corbin endured months of torture at the hands of someone she trusted. Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), her guardian and mother-in-law, needed her money. Gladys has a serious gambling problem, and she was losing big at Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) poker games.
She couldn’t pay her enormous debts, so she was taking money from Sasha’s accounts. She was able to do this since she was Sasha’s guardian. When Sasha had her last breakdown, Glady’s was given this role.
When Sasha began to improve and wanted to manage her own affairs, Gladys got nervous. She really needed to have control so that she could get Sasha’s money.
IN order to get released from the guardianship, Sasha had to have a doctor’s approval. The doctor she began seeing was Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder), who was Gladys’ gambling partner.
Gladys convinced Dr. Montague to help her keep Sasha unstable. He gave her a prescription to take, and these meds caused her to have hallucinations. She ended up stabbing Cody Bell, believing him to be Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Because of this, she was sent to Ferncliff Hospital for the Criminally Insane, where Dr. Montague continued to torture her.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Breaking Free
While Cody expressed his concerns about Gladys, he didn’t take any action. When Sasha was in Ferncliff, he realized he needed to do something. He broke her out and was finally able to get Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) to understand what was happening.
They were able to bust Dr. Montague as he was trying to drug Sasha again. They arrested him and freed Sasha. Gladys tried to skip out of town, but Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) confronted her. He sent her out of Port Charles with only the clothes on her back and told her she could never return.
Even though Sasha’s torture is over, she doesn’t feel that she can stay in Port Charles. It holds too much sadness and pain. She wants to start afresh. Cody has feelings for her though, but he hasn’t expressed those. Is he going to do that before she walks out of his life? What do you think?
