General Hospital spoilers wonder if Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will support a romance between Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason And Britt Were Robbed Of A Chance At Love
It’s only one more day, and the wait is finally over! We will see Kelly Thiebaud on the July 18th episode of GH.
There is much speculation about who Thiebaud will play. Will she come back from the dead as Britt, or will she play an entirely new character?
Our sincere wish is for Thiebaud to return as Britt. We want her and Jason to have a shot at love. They were definitely robbed of what could have been. Jason had to marry Carly when everyone believed Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was dead.
Jason’s aim was to protect Carly and her family. Unfortunately, his actions left Britt out in the cold. No matter who Jason is with, you can bet that Carly will have something to say about it. It’s anybody’s guess whether her opinion will be positive or negative.
Carly is Jason’s BFF forever, and she always has to put her two cents into any relationship Jason attempts to have.
While we know how much Carly loves Jason and wants what’s best for him. However, she can sometimes go overboard since she feels that Jason deserves no less than a perfect mate.
If Britt returns to the fold, Carly may be suspicious of how Britt managed to escape death at the hands of “the Hook” and may even try to convince Jason that he can’t trust her.
It’s conceivable that if Britt somehow faked her death, Carly may not be so understanding. Another potential scenario is if and when Carly finds out that her loved ones were right to warn her about Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).
She may lean on Jason when her relationship with Brennan blows up, and that could lead to some unresolved feelings being awakened.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lulu Could Ask Carly To Take Her Side Against Britt
Carly admitted once that she was very jealous of Britt when she started to become romantically involved with Jason.
She may not want to share Jason with another woman. While Carly has matured and mellowed a lot in recent years, there is still a chance that Carly won’t like it one bit when Jason rediscovers a lost love and starts to confide in her more than Carly.
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Carly used to clash over Jason. That was back before Carly became more self-aware. That said, we can see a potential rivalry develop between Carly and Britt.
Another reason we question whether Carly will accept Britt as a love interest for Jason is due to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins).
Lulu is somewhat judgmental of others and has decided that she doesn’t want Jason to discuss Britt with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) again.
If it comes down to Britt vs. Lulu, Carly may choose to side with Lulu. Carly was around when Britt stole Lulu and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) embryo and implanted it into herself.
It’s a complicated story, and if Britt returns and bonds with Rocco, it could cause tension between Lulu and Jason since he’s so fond of her.
Even though Britt saved Josslyn Jack’s (Eden McCoy) life, it may not stop Carly from having her reservations about Jason getting involved with her again.
