‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is out for blood. A couple of weeks ago, she donned a clever disguise and visited Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) at Steinmaur.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Carly Coerced Brennan To Transfer Valentin
She pretended to be Valentin’s new lawyer, Barbara Saunders. She had on a brunette wig and hot librarian glasses, but Valentin immediately recognized her.
Carly propositioned Valentin as she told him that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) recruited Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) into the WSB and had been lying to her for months.
Carly declared that she wanted to take Brennan down and asked Valentin if he wanted to help. Of course, Valentin, who is in prison because of Jack, jumped at the opportunity.
Recently, Carly coerced Brennan into arranging a stateside transfer for Valentin. She played it up like Charlotte Cassadine’s (Bluesy Burke) trips to Switzerland were disruptive to her life.
Valentin will soon arrive at a prison that is closer to Port Charles. Jack also needs crucial information from Valentin that he won’t easily give up. We think Brennan agreed to the transfer mostly so he could pry answers out of him.
We all know what’s coming. Since whatever prison Valentin is being transferred to won’t have as stringent security, he may enlist Carly’s help to make that happen.
She could also even more easily help Valentin escape during the prison transfer. Valentin could end up a free man. Besides, most fans would love to see Valentin back in action in Port Charles.
We know that Carly went to Valentin for a reason. She wants his help to bring Jack down. A part of their conversation shocked us.
Carly informed Valentin about Joss’s new career path and asked Valentin what he would do if Brennan ever recruited Charlotte for the WSB.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Valentin Implied He Would Kill Jack If He Recruited His Daughter
Valentin admitted that he wouldn’t stop until Jack was six feet under. Carly nodded in agreement. Truthfully, it’s hard to say has more of an incentive to kill Jack.
Brennan betrayed Carly in the worst way imaginable. He put one of her kids in danger and never told her about Joss coming to work for his spy organization.
Yet Valentin has missed time with Charlotte since he’s been in a maximum-security prison for months.
Both have a motive to want to see Jack pay. Valentin already attempted to murder Brennan when he sent poison champagne to Jack’s hotel room at the Metro Court.
Unfortunately, Carly was the one who ingested the alcoholic beverage and almost died due to polonium poisoning.
We can’t imagine Carly would let Valentin forget that he almost killed her! Yet, we could also see Valentin being very convincing.
If Valentin offers to kill Jack, how will Carly respond? We can’t really picture her being on board at first. However, suppose Joss is tasked with a perilous new mission.
Carly may panic and decide that it’s time for Brennan to meet his maker. We all know she’ll do whatever it takes to protect her children.
There were also rumors swirling this past summer that Jack would be killed off the soap. We have to wonder if there is any truth to these rumors.
However, Chris McKenna is under contract it looks like he’s in Port Charles to stay. McKenna himself shut down Jack death rumors and speculation and revealed he’s officially a recurring character.
Regardless, Carly’s endgame appears to be extracting Joss from the WSB and making sure she’s safe. We have to wonder how far she’ll go to make that happen.
