‘General Hospital’ spoilers share that Laura Wright recently dished to Soap Opera Digest about her character, Carly Spencer, teaming up with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to take Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) down.

It was hilarious when we saw Carly show up at Steinmaur to visit Valentin and ask him to help her seek revenge on Jack.
Jason Morgan (Steve Morgan) finally told Carly the truth about Josslyn Jack’s (Eden McCoy) WSB career, and now Carly is out for blood.
Carly asked Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to procure a fake identity, a passport, a digital trail, and the whole shebang.
Of course, Spinelli delivered the goods, and Carly was able to make it through the prison’s top-level security. Carly posed as Valentin’s new lawyer, Barbara Saunders.
Carly’s brunette wig and hot librarian glasses didn’t fool Valentin for a second. He instantly recognized her and wondered why she didn’t just let Jack get her in.
It became clear to Valentin that Carly wasn’t exactly thrilled with her boyfriend. Valetin was intrigued, and even more so when Carly explained to the situation to him.
Brennan recruited Joss into the WSB, and Carly wants revenge. Interestingly, Carly asked what Valentin would do if Jack recruited his daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke), into the spy world.
Valentin responded that he wouldn’t rest until he was six feet under. Whatever payback Carly and Valentin plan, it’s going to hit Jack where it hurts. That is, if Carly lets him survive.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The Story Coming With Valentin And Carly Will Blow Fans’ Minds
Wright began her soap career on Loving, where she met James Patrick Stuart, who was on All My Children. The two of them ran in the same circles and hung out together a lot back then.
The actress was over the moon to get to work with him. She told SOD,
“I was excited! I love the idea of working with James. I love him. He’s funny and hilarious and great to work with.”
Wright also explained that the material she and James have coming up will blow fans’ minds. Plus, Carly hasn’t forgotten that she almost died because of Valentin. It’s a very unholy and unlikely alliance that’s going to be very compelling to watch.
Laura explained about the way Carly is handling Jack’s betrayal,
“She is playing in a world she knows nothing about, and no one knows she’s doing it. No one.”
She continued,
“So this is going to be a very interesting game that she’s playing because she’s doing Carly things in a very big world, a world that’s way bigger than Port Charles.”
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Would Valentin And Carly Make An Exciting Couple?
Valentin even warned her that if Jack discovered what she was up to, he could “make her disappear.” We have to wonder if romance could be in the cards for Carly and Valentin.
If Carly and Valentin got together, it would no doubt bring on some majorly soapy drama. After all, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Valentin were once madly in love.
Since Carly and Nina despise each other, we could vividly imagine the catfights that would ensue. Plus, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason would vehemently oppose them as a couple.
The storyline possibilities that would arise if the two of them got together would be both exciting and endless.
Wright also points out that she’s going to keep her plans with Valentin a secret, even from her ride or die, Jason.
Then again, Jason kept this from her as well. He could have told her the minute he returned from Croatia. Laura joked in character,
“I’ll apologize to Jason later. He’s not stopping me from doing this!”
She added,
“I might wait a month. Jason, you didn’t tell me for a month.”
We all know that once Carly sets her mind on something, nothing and no one can stop her.
