‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) may be the first man since Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to truly break Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) heart.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brennan Introduced Carly As “The Head Of The Establishment”

Carly recently had to walk away from Brennan due to his awkward exchange with another woman, Vivian, when she was on a date with Jack at the Metro Court.

Brennan introduced Carly as “the owner of the establishment,” which obviously hurt Carly, and she walked out.

Brennan followed Carly to the pier, and he asked her what was wrong. Carly admitted to him that she felt like she and Jack didn’t want the same kind of relationship.

It should have been evident to him why she was upset. That being said, Jack was clueless. The whole scenario called Brennan and Carly’s romance into question and prompted Carly to protect her heart.

Carly is obviously head over heels, whether she wants to admit that or not. That’s why we think when she finds out that Brennan not only fed her daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) clues that led her to Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) cabin, covered up Joss killing him in self-defense, incriminated her bestie, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in the crime and for his grand finale, recruited Joss to the WSB, she’ll go ballistic.

Carly may feel like the warning signs of Jack potentially causing her heartache were right there, and much like many times with Sonny, she followed her heart instead of listening to her head.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Carly May Give In And Sleep With Jack

In the March 13th episode of the soap, Carly was having drinks at the Metro Court with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), who asked Carly if maybe she was overthinking her hesitation to take things to the next level with Jack.

Maxie asked Carly if she was to die tomorrow, would she regret not sleeping with Jack? The look on Carly’s face said everything viewers needed to know.

Carly and Jack on their way

There’s an undeniable spark Carly feels for Brennan, and spoilers hint that in the March 14th episode of GH, she may give in to her passion and sleep with Jack for the first time.

The closer Brennan and Carly are when the truth about Joss comes out, the more furious Carly will be with Jack for lying to her.

Plus, the stakes will be higher for Brennan, and the drama that ensues when she finds out will have maximum impact.

Brennan had his reasons for choosing Josslyn for this line of work, and he’s allegedly doing this for “the greater good.” He senses that Joss is on a quest for justice. She needs to make somehow Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) mean something for her healing.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Joss Wants Justice For Dex

Joss knows she can use those powerful, pent-up emotions to take down the bad guys. So, in a sense, she’s also getting justice for Dex.

Brennan may feel he’s doing what needs to be done, even if his love life is on the line. There is no doubt he cares deeply for Carly, but his life is much more complicated than roses, wine, and a fancy dinner.

    'General Hospital' Two-Week spoilers

He wants a chance with Carly, but at the end of the day, he’s still the head of the WSB. He may try to explain to Carly that he chose Joss because he has faith in her as an agent.

Carly will see it differently. Joss was working hard in college and striving for a particular goal, and now she’s involved in a hazardous job.

Carly will undoubtedly connect to Joss’s reasoning. She will understand why she accepted the offer to become a super spy. However, she may never forgive Jack for his deception. In the end, Jack’s lies may only disappoint Carly and cause her pain.
