‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers indicates that TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellows) witnessed Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) in the middle of trying to kill his cousin, Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey). He stopped him and told him that it was not worth it. But will he come to regret stopping Austin?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Threat
Mason Gatlin is a thug. He has been following orders coming from Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Those orders involved threatening Ava Jerome (Maura West) and trying to dig up information on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Mason was doing whatever Cyrus ordered but he also dragged his cousin into the situation.
When anyone needed medical help “off the books” they would bring the patient to Austin. When Austin expressed that he wanted out, Mason said that wasn’t an option.
If Austin tries to make a move against his cousin, sharing what he knows, Mason will take Austin down with him. Austin hasn’t walked away so there is plenty that he could also be charged with.
This overwhelms Austin. He is tired of Mason’s threats. Mason almost killed Ava Jerome, rather than returning her home as Cyrus ordered. The only thing that saved Ava was the arrival of Dex Heller (Ethan Hofer) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Regret?
When TJ was treating Mason, he put some pieces together. He figured out that it was Mason who kidnapped him. This shakes TJ up and he hurries to tell his mother, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) all about it. TJ wants Mason to be punished for what he did to him also.
Jordan tells TJ that is likely a lost cause. TJ is saying he now recognizes the voice. Mason also admitted to knowing something about him from his time as his prisoner.
But, no one overheard that conversation. Jordan also points out that TJ was stressed and anxious during his time in captivity. It will be hard to press charges on that because he can’t prove it was Mason.
TJ is upset by this. He wants Mason to face the consequences of his actions. When he goes back to Mason’s room, he sees Austin holding a pillow over Mason’s face.
He stops him, because he wants to save Austin. He doesn’t want Austin to throw his life away for his scum-bag cousin. A police officer is right outside the door and Austin wouldn’t get away with it.
TJ tells Mason he is satisfied knowing he’ll be in prison a long time after kidnapping Ava. The satisfaction of knowing Mason is locked up will be vindication enough for TJ.
The question is, what if Mason gets off or gets away? What if he gets a lenient judge, just as his boss Cyrus Renault did? Will TJ with he had not stopped Austin?
