‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) have surprising chemistry, and we’re wondering if there is a hot new couple in the making.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason And Anna Share A Spark
The two appear to ally when Jason helps Anna take down Pikeman. They worked well together, and it was evident that the two may have a spark.
Anna tells Jason that he deserves a better life than working for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and she warns him that she is out to put Sonny behind bars.
Jason is currently helping Sonny with destroying evidence of his crime, such as the gun the mob boss used to kill John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington).
Anna knows in her gut that Sonny killed Agent Cates, and she also knows that Jason is helping him. Anna recently asked Jason who she was dealing with (referring to him).
She elaborated that they had an alliance, but she could see that was all over. The two of them made eye contact, and she sounded deep in despair when she said, “I thought we were becoming friends.”
Jason told Anna he wouldn’t stop working for Sonny but that they could continue to help each other because he still considered her a friend.
“I wish I felt the same,”
Anna replied. Jason responded,
“Let me know when that changes.”
Anna said that she hoped it would.
The two of them seem to have great affection for one another, and it looks like it could become a love story. Janna is being championed on social media, as fans have commented that the two have sizzling chemistry.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason’s Work For Sonny Poses A Conflict
Jason even kept Anna’s secret that she let Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) get away before he was sent to prison as the head of Pikeman.
Even though Anna is the police commissioner, she overlooks Valentin’s faults and still lets herself fall for him.
The same thing could happen with Jason. Despite him being Sonny’s mob enforcer, there seems to be an attraction brewing between them that’s about to come to the surface.
Then, there’s the conflict that comes with working for Sonny. It’s bound to interfere. Even though Jason is forever loyal to the dimpled don, he still wants to help Anna. Their impeccable bond brings a softness to Anna underneath her tough exterior.
Anna also tried to protect Jason when Cates was ordering him around. She respected his desire to protect Carly Spencer (Lara Wright) and helped him escape John’s possession of him.
She knew Cates was abusing his power and was just as angry about it as Jason. Then, there’s the Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCoullough) connection.
Years ago, Anna’s daughter, Robin Scorpio, was romantically involved with Jason. Robin was among the first people, besides Carly and Sonny, to break through Jason’s reluctance to get close to anyone. After Jason’s accident left him brain-damaged, he couldn’t trust anyone.
That changed with Robin. Perhaps a similar relationship forms between Jason and Anna. When the pair share scenes, they shine as friends and potential love interests.
