‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal the death of the legendary Bobbie Spencer, and her portrayer, Jackie Zeman, will finally be addressed on the week of January 10.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Bobbie’s Funeral is Set for January 10th and 11th
Two emotional episodes are planned for January 10th and 11th, when Port Charles says goodbye to Bobbie with a tear-jerker of a memorial service.
Zeman, who succumbed to cancer on May 9 of this year, played nurse Bobbie for 45 years. Most of the cast will attend the memorial. The characters will come together to celebrate Bobbie’s life, and some familiar faces from the past will be there for the funeral, like Bobbie’s son, Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes).
Like her daughter, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), Bobbie Spencer arrived in Port Charles as a troublemaker. She was a former prostitute who tried to break up Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) so she could have Scotty for herself.
Bobbie eventually turned her life around and became a respected citizen of Port Charles. Bobbie was even one of Laura’s bridesmaids when she eventually married Bobbie’s brother, Luke Spencer (Tony Geary).
Barbara Jean went through a string of disastrous relationships until she met doctor Tony Jones (Brad Maule). The two of them were married, and they adopted Lucas. Bobbie adopted Tony’s daughter, Barbra Jean Jones (Brighton Hertford).
Someone who holds a special place for Bobbie in her heart is Maxie Jones (Kiersten Storms). Bobbie’s daughter, B.J. (Barbra Jean), was left brain-dead after a drunk driver hit her school bus.
Felicia Scorpio’s (Kristina Wagner) daughter, Maxie, was sick and desperately needed a heart transplant. Bobbie and Tony Jones decided that Maxie would get B.J.’s heart.

Carly came to town to ruin Bobbie’s life because Bobbie gave her up for adoption when she was a baby. The two finally reconciled and were as close as any mother and daughter could be.
Of course, Carly will likely give the eulogy. Carly and Felicia will also be embarking on a trip together to Amsterdam, which will be interesting.
The Aztec Princess and Port Charles’s former bad girl turned heroine are the perfect pair to go on an adventure. The storyline promises to have many twists, turns, and surprises to delight the viewers.
Another character set to pay homage to Bobbie is her nemesis, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). Bobbie and Lucy were never friends, but their animosity toward one another progressed to pure venom when Lucy and Damian Smith (Leigh McClosky) made a bet to see if Damian could get Bobbie to cheat on her husband, Tony, with him.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Bobbie’s former sister-in-law, Laura, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), and other castmates will also pay tribute to Bobbie during this important moment in General Hospital’s history.
The funeral is not just for Bobbie but also for Jackie, and it will give the entire cast a chance to say goodbye to the talented and beloved actress.
After shooting the funeral scenes, the cast and crew walked outside and saw a rainbow, which was an undeniable sign that, somewhere up above, Jackie was watching down on them.
