‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Jane Elliot will return to the show as Tracy Quartermaine. However, she may come home with bad news about Bobbie Spencer (Jackie Zeman).
In the land of Port Charles, the character Bobbie is alive and in Amsterdam, set to help Tracy settle Luke Spencer’s (Tony Geary) affairs.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Tracy Goes to Amsterdam to Settle Luke’s Affairs
Tracy has gone off to determine what will happen to Luke’s possessions and figure out the financial end of it. While Tracy is with Bobbie, it is rumored that Luke’s sister may have her on-screen death.
Jackie Zeman died in May, and the show has not addressed her death. Zeman passed on during the writer’s strike, and viewers thought the original writers would return after the strike to give Bobbie and her portrayer, Jackie Zeman, the send-off she deserves.
Barbra Jean Spencer made her debut at General Hospital in December 1977. The writers introduced Bobbie as a troublemaker with a bit of a wild streak.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) fans unfamiliar with Jackie Zeman’s earlier work may appreciate that the writers created Carly to be like her mother when she first came on the show.
Bobbie was the daughter of the late Tim and Lena Spencer. She was Luke Spencer’s beloved sister. They were raised in a low-income family living near the docks in Port Charles.
Bobbie was a prostitute when she became pregnant with Carly. She gave Carly up for adoption, and Carly eventually came to Port Charles to find her mother and exact revenge for giving her up when she was a baby.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jackie Zeman Deserves a Beautiful and Moving Tribute
Jackie played Bobbie first from 1977 to 2007 on a contract basis. Then, from 2007 to 2010, Jackie had a recurring role. She left and came back in 2013 on a recurring basis.
Zeman’s final appearance on the show was memorable, as she welcomed Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) into the Spencer family when she married Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Bobbie’s last episode was Michael and Willow’s April 27, 2023 wedding ceremony.
Zeman died peacefully in her home from a brief cancer-related illness. Jackie was a legendary soap actress and a cherished member of the GH family.
Despite several mentions of her involvement with other characters, Bobbie and Jackie’s missing presence on the show is felt. Let’s hope GH does this actress justice with a beautiful tribute and loving send-off.
GH spoilers suggest that Tracy may return to Port Charles and announce Bobbie’s death. In any case, Tracy needs to return to settle things with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) concerning Deception.
Not to mention, Tracy’s son, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), is no longer “Eddie Maine” and will remember her and his life now.
Spoilers reveal that Tracy may come home for turkey (Pizza) on Thanksgiving, so her stint away from Port Charles shouldn’t be too long.
No matter what, Tracy is a necessary character on the show, and Jane Elliot is a treasure as she is so wickedly wonderful as Port Charles’s meanest Quartermaine. Don’t worry, GH fans; everything will be settled soon enough.
