‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) pharmacist isn’t exactly “the good doctor” he proclaims himself to be.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Valentin Could Leave A Trail Straight To Ava
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) bribed him to give Sonny a quarter dose of his bipolar medicine. Now Ava Jerome (Maura West) has blackmailed the pharmacist to go a step further and give him total placebos.
Ava thinks this is the perfect plan to win custody of Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), but her plan could backfire.
She has no idea who initially messed with Sonny’s medicine, and she does not care. She knows she has the upper hand in this case.
But Ava doesn’t quite know who she’s dealing with. As Valentin fled Port Charles after Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) tipped him off, he leaves behind the burner phone he used for his Pikeman business.
A trail of clues hidden on that phone may suggest Val’s role in playing games with Sonny’s prescription.
What if Valentin is one step ahead of everyone and arranges for Ava to take the fall? It would be ironic, given that she is guilty of switching Sonny’s medicine.
Valentin knows that Ava went to the pharmacist and probed him about Sonny’s pills. He may remember this helpful information and use it to his advantage.
He could arrange for the pharmacist to point the finger at Ava. He could find out about the custody case and seize the opportunity to blame the whole scheme on the art gallery owner.
Another thought is that the doctor may set Ava up altogether. The authorities somehow discovered that he had altered Sonny’s prescription and went to General Hospital to arrest him.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ava Would Never See It Coming
The pharmacist may give Ava up at this point. He could even make a deal with Sonny’s lawyer, Killer Miller (Aka Diane Miller, played by Carolyn Hennesy), and tell her that Ava coerced him to switch Sonny’s meds, and he only did it because she threatened him.
Diane might agree to represent him in court if he testifies against Ava at the custody hearing. Or Valentin could leave a trail straight to Ava.
Ava would never think that the person who did this to Sonny to start with would go after her. After all, in Ava’s mind, she’s serving them and her by making sure Sonny has a mental breakdown.
What Ava is doing is highly immoral, and she needs to be held accountable for her actions. If the pharmacist does come clean, it should happen in a very dramatic and soapy way.
It would be ideal if the pharmacist showed up at the custody hearing at the last minute to help Sonny. He could then explain to the court what Ava did and that his guilt over his involvement was becoming too high a price to pay.
The martini-drinking vixen could go down, and she may never see the outside of a jail cell again, or at least, she’d be locked up for a very long time.
Either way, she would undoubtedly lose her daughter. As long as Sonny gets full custody of Avery and goes back on his medicine, it’s a happy ending for everyone…. Except Ava.
