‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that while many fans have been clamoring for a reunion between Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), still some fans feel cheated out of “Liason.”
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: “Liason” Still Has An Impressive Fanbase
“Liason,” of course, is the super couple name for Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Jason. They were together decades ago, and viewers may recall that they garnered a very strong, vocal, and supportive fan base.
Jason and Elizabeth were seemingly robbed of any real shot at love. Unfortunately, the timing never seemed to be right for this popular pairing. However, fans never forgot their easy chemistry.
Plus, Jason’s involvement in the mob was always an issue for Liz. They were engaged for mere hours when Liz broke it off with him when Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) was shot due to Jason’s business.
The couple ended up having a child, Jake Webber (Hudson West), but they were never really able to make their relationship work. For a time, Jason would ping pong back and forth between Jason and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
Throughout the years, Jason and Liz have remained close and are always there to support each other whenever either of them is in trouble or simply needs someone to confide in.
Some fans feel the connection between Liz and Jason is a forever one, and they deserve a chance to see if they can be happy together.
They’ve had too many obstacles in the way of them even giving it a try. Yet, their fan base is still out there and wants to see their love prevail.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: “JaBritt” Have Major Super Couple Potential
Britt and Jason also never got the opportunity to see where their relationship could go. They were also never really officially a couple.
A few years ago, they went on the run together and had one special night together in a cabin in Canada. Many fans believed that Britt and Jason had major super couple potential.
Jason was with Britt when she discovered that she had the marker for Huntington’s disease. He provided a supportive sounding board for her and listened to all her fears.
Sadly, they were never truly in a real relationship, as Jason had to marry Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) when they believed Carly’s then-mob boss husband, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard), was dead.
When Sonny returned, Jason tried to pick up where he left off with Britt, but she was too hurt and disappointed over the way Jason had just dropped everything for Carly.
She still holds him accountable for that time. Britt has been a bit cold to Jason, but there is definitely still a spark between them.
Like Jason, Britt was also presumed dead, and Jason went to Croatia to find her. He brought her back to Port Charles and put her up in his old room at Bobbie’s, much to Carly’s dismay.
Speaking of which, some claim that Carly is the only woman for Jason. In our opinion, Sam was Jason’s true love. They had an epic love story, and it’s one that is hard to top.
That said, fans tend to have a strong opinion about which woman they believe is Jason’s soulmate. If given the choice between Britt and Elizabeth, who do you think Jason should be with?
