‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for reveal that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) lucks out, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) psychoanalyzes Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan), Laura Webber (Genie Francis) is surprised by Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), and Drew Cain (Billy Miller) continues to worry for Kim Nero (Tamara Braun). If you missed the General Hospital spoilers, let’s get caught up in today’s recap.
General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Full of surprises
Maxie isn’t the only one trying to get Lulu and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) back together. Laura is also concerned about her daughter being alone and wants to know where Dante is. Robert refuses to divulge the information, as it’s important for him to focus on his healing right now. His PTSD is real, and this convinces her to let up a bit.
While they talk, Robert ends up dropping a couple of bombs on her. She learns that not only did Robert get let go, but he went law school and passed the New York BAR. He’s also close friends with the governor. This is going to be important later.
General Hospital Spoilers: Trapped
Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) has a run-in with Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) today. He’s immediately on guard, knowing the threat Shiloh poses. As they talk, Brad gets combative and says he knows exactly what kind of guy Shiloh is, thanks to the news all over TV. Shiloh claims innocence, but Brad says there’s no way Shiloh doesn’t know every detail of what goes on in Dawn of Day.
Eventually, Shiloh tries playing the sympathy card, but Brad doesn’t care. He’s already got plans involving a passport. Hmm. Wonder what Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) is going to think of that…
General Hospital spoilers: Good intentions are the road to Hell
The old saying is so going to come true. Mark our words. After learning about the situation with Lulu’s date that wasn’t, Maxie is alarmed that Lulu wants to keep going. She and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) both try to talk her out of it, but she is determined to help lonely women getting taken advantage of. Maxie sees the subtext and calls Lulu out on it, but that still doesn’t change her mind. She’s going to keep going, regardless. Maxie warns Lulu that, “I will reverse haunt you,” if Lulu dies because of this reckless behavior. Lulu responds, “I love you, too?” before heading out.
Now alone, Maxie gets back on her sales pitch, which Peter is upset about. He tries to get it through her head that Dante would be here if he thought it was safe, but Maxie doesn’t care because her best friend is suffering and this is what best friends do for each other. Peter thinks best friends point out when you’re making a mistake, but she wants to know when he became an expert. After all, he admitted he never had one before. Eventually, he gives in if it will make her happy.
General Hospital spoilers: Lucky break
Michael is very lucky today. Our corrupt Dawnie cop shows up in Port Charles looking for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). As the Soap Gods would have it, Michael shows up at that very moment. Dawnie accuses Michael of helping a kidnapper escape, and Mac laughs in his face. Even better, he gets real after Dawnie insists that he’s the one and Mac has to have him arrested now.
He says he is not going to arrest someone on the orders of an out-of-jurisdiction cop who took no photo of the alleged suspect for helping the kidnapper of a woman with no name. It’s truly epic. Even better, after Dawnie leaves, he makes it clear to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Michael that he doesn’t believe the alibi Chase provided and wants to know what’s up. They confess what’s going on and Mac informs Chase he’s just used his one and only strike. In other news, we learn that Robert has now been appointed DA.
General Hospital spoilers: Backup plan
Speaking of the crime in question, Jason is currently hiding out in a safehouse with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Jason is all set to go back to accomplish their goal, but Sam refuses to allow him to do that. She thinks it’s too dangerous, as he’s a wanted man. He points out that DoD people are scattering since all the news came out, and it’s possible someone who knows her will be in Beechers Corners. Sam insists she’s a con, and it’s easy to be anyone she wants.
Ultimately, they decide that Sam is going to get a statement from her that will be delivered to officials. That, they believe, will be enough to get an order to appear in Port Charles court, something that will legally get her in the town and on the record, giving them what they need to take down Shiloh.
General Hospital spoilers: One more ritual
Meanwhile, Drew is still worrying about Kim. He confides in Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that she is struggling hard. He’s worried, and feels bad for her because unlike him, she has no other child to keep him going. The rituals are done, and now it’s real for her.
Alexis begs to differ on the rituals thing. She says they still have the issue of reading Oscar Nero’s (Garren Stitt) will. They need to set up a time and place to do so.
