    ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nikolas Cassadine a lost cause?

    ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers relate to Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) troubled return. We’ve made no secret of our disappointment in this character. Especially after so much hype surrounding him. Fans practically begged for his return. However, we’re forced to reevaluate our opinion of him. First, he successfully conned Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) out of town. As a plus, Jasper Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) believes Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is responsible for her hasty departure. But the Wednesday, December 4th episode marked a huge turning point. Here’s what you need to know.

    ‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Under pressure

    Nikolas’ blunders complicated his (and Jax’s) life. The stupid risks and eventual confession to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) put the pressure on. Carly’s not thrilled with what he’s doing, and her objections (and Jax’s inconvenience) forced Jax to tell Nikolas to wrap things up by New Year’s, or else. Adding to the pressure, Hayden almost spilled the beans. With the walls closing in, he pulled his most desperate (and dark) move yet. We’re seriously conflicted. So, what’d he do?

    ‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Twisted move

    First off, Nikolas proved his smarts. Rather than walking in and revealing himself to Ava Jerome (Maura West), he paid a nurse to give her something. Then, he entered her room and pretended to be a delusion of Ava’s.

    His plan to find that painting  was cruel. General Hospital spoilers reveal he got in Ava’s face and accused her of betraying him. He  made her believe he was in Hell and couldn’t have peace because of her. To add to the evil, he said her daughter is in Hell with him. He took an already on the edge woman and manipulated her beyond reason. It’s twisted, effective, and worthy of the dark intro he got. But is there any way back?

    ‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Beyond hope?

    The answer is, we honestly don’t see a way for him to come out the victor. General Hospital spoilers relate to his crimes in the pursuit of his goal. The Cassandra move in particular.  It put his own niece’s life at risk. We just don’t see Laura Webber (Genie Francis) and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) forgiving that. If they learn about this latest manipulation of Ava, it’ll be even worse. Laura’s a mental health advocate and the mayor. Even her motherly love will find blatant abuse of an unstable woman unforgiveable. It’s looking like Nikolas’ only place going forward is as an outright bad guy.
