‘General Hospital’ spoilers relate a volatile time in Port Charles as the Mayoral Elections are wrapping up with a serial killer (Ryan Chamberlain) on the loose. There were elections, trials, and investigations this Wednesday, and in case you missed the General Hospital spoilers, we have your General Hospital recap to cover you. Let’s get started with the election saga…
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nicest. Election. Ever.
Seriously, are these people even politicians, because they’re sure not acting like it. Neither one is slinging mud, making big deals out of nothing, or even twisting facts. Not even any name-calling. In fact, both Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) spend a lot of the episode talking about how it wouldn’t be all that bad if the other won, and how they respect one another as people, even when they disagree on an issue.
Ned and Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) appear on an interview with Lulu Spencer-Falconeri (Emme Rylan), where he pledges to support Laura completely should she end up being the people’s choice. Even crazier (and would probably only happen on TV), Laura is willing to stand by her friendship with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard), even after the election, despite him telling her he would completely understand if she distanced herself.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Too Soon To Call
This is some true utopia stuff here, people. Anyway, Laura is at an election party, while Ned chooses to spend the night hanging out at home with Olivia binge-watching TV shows, because he’s not wanting to deal with the stress that would come from monitoring the results non-stop. We’re with him.
We also understand Olivia, who sort of low-key wants Ned to lose, because she’s tired of having to watch every word she says or tweets. Girl, it’s not just for first ladies, so get used to that. Have you seen how many people get destroyed on social that aren’t even big names? As for the results, by the end of the episode, it’s still too soon to call.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Here Comes Judge Hardass – Drew To Cameron’s Aid
Another story is the continuation of the trial, where Cameron Webber (William Lipton) was unlucky enough to draw the very judge that Alexis Davis (Nancy Grahn) was hoping not to face. When the proceedings begin, Alexis stresses his good record to date, as well as his total contrition for his actions. She then has Cameron read a letter that covers similar points, neglecting to mention his motives.
When it looks like the judge might be leaning toward punishing Cameron similarly to the dealer (who got a year behind bars), Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) jumps in to share Cameron’s motive, much to Alexis’ obvious distress. The move almost backfires, as the judge then goes on a lecture about Cameron interfering with Oscar’s medical care.

Luckily, Drew Cain (Billy Miller) comes in and pleads Cameron’s case and Cameron ends up with a year of probation and service, after which he’ll have no record. He will, however, have to pay some of the legal expenses, because Alexis ain’t cheap. At least, that’s what Elizabeth says as a joke. Drew, however, appears grateful for what Cameron tried to do and offers him work.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The Investigation Continues
Meanwhile, we’re still following the case of the most recent killing spree to hit Port Charles. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine), with help from Margaux Dawson (Elizabeth Hendrickson), are still following the missing license lead that may link the cases. They give it a good try, but can’t seem to find anyone today that can confirm or deny whether the missing items were a known thing to the police.
Lulu, while talking to Margaux, tries to get her to tell what the mystery detail is, but Margaux isn’t spilling. Despite the conversation being off the record, Lulu is obviously intrigued and opens up her old files relating to the Ryan Chamberlain murders to try to figure it out for herself.

She really needs to watch herself, because she seemed a little too into the public knowing. If she does find the link herself and decides to publish, she’ll not only get in trouble with the cops for leaking the info and potentially damaging the case, but she could lead the killer right to her.
Sidenote: Dante Falconeri (currently uncast, after Dominic Zampprogna exited the show) might be going deeper undercover, and Sonny wants him home.
