‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers reveal that there may be more to Blaze (aka Alison Rogers, played by Jacqueline Grace Lopez) than meets the eye.
The show appears to be setting the stage for a new romance between Blaze and Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi), which means that Kristina (and Kate) finally gets the storyline and formidable love interest she deserves.
Like most fictional soap towns, Port Charles is not where someone shows up with no familial connection to any of the characters, and Blaze coming onto the scene is no coincidence. She has to be connected to somebody.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Blaze May Be Lila Rae Quartermaine
There is some speculation that Blaze could be Skye Chandler Quartermaine’s (Robin Christopher) and Lorenzo Alcazar’s (Ted King) daughter, Lila Rae. Think about it.
Why would Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) care about Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) keeping her job at Deception? Oddly, Tracy would suddenly grow a conscience, especially when it comes to someone who’s not family or Luke Spencer (Tony Geary).
Tracy may not want Blaze to be the company’s new face because she is Lila Rae, Skye Chandler Quartermaine’s daughter.
Tracy always thought Skye was just a gold digger and a drunk and resented how the Quartermaines welcomed her into the family despite being a fake.
She was married to Luke, and Skye was involved with him romantically. Luke even had a nickname for Skye. It was “Blaze.” It may have flattered Skye, and it stuck.
Fans would love to see Lila Rae return home, considering that most of the Quartermaine clan has seemingly disappeared over the years.
The return of Lila Rae could also spark the return of a very much alive Lorenzo Alcazar. That could create a mountain of storyline possibilities.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Blaze Could Add Some Excitement
It would undoubtedly give Sonny Corinthos’s enemy list some much-needed spice and excitement, and he could even work with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) to try to take Sonny down.
Blaze would add an interesting element to that story since she is interested in Kristina romantically (she doesn’t know it yet!)
Blaze has feelings for Kristina, but she may have come to town to get to know her family. She already has a rousing endorsement from Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), who could end up being her long-lost cousin.
Blaze may not be looking for anything but support and security in her life since her Mother certainly wasn’t the picture of stability.
Remember when Skye wanted to shoot Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) to Jasper Jax (Ingo Rademacher) on her wedding day and tried to frame her for Lorenzo’s murder?
Yet another rumor we heard is that Blaze could be a relative or daughter of one of the five families. There is no doubt that there is chemistry between Blaze and Kristina, which would only heighten the suspense and intrigue if Blaze wanted to keep her familial ties a secret from everyone.
It would be fun to somehow tie Blaze into the canvas and give her some roots to grow as a character. Hopefully, GH will explore a relationship between her and Kristina and see where it goes.
