.‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers confirm that Kelly Monaco, who plays Sam McCall on GH, has been praised for her remarkable final performance.

Monaco was fired almost two months ago in what was called a “storyline-dictated move” and has knocked every scene out of the park in the weeks leading up to her exit.
Despite a petition, a billboard in Times Square, a billboard truck arriving at the studio, and thousands of angry fans on social media, ABC/Disney refused to hire her back.
After GH unceremoniously fired one of its cherished veteran actresses and didn’t give her the respect she deserved, Kelly could have given a lackluster performance. However, she’s consistently and flawlessly played her role with grace and raw emotion.
Monaco didn’t want to disappoint her fans and gave it her all. Kelly delivered powerful performances as Sam learned she could save Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havens) and be her liver donor. Unfortunately, Lucky Spencer (Johnathan Jackson) was informed he was not a viable donor.
The beautiful family scenes between Sam, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinate), and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) were heart-rending and unforgettable.
We saw gratitude on Rocco’s face as he hugged Sam, which was very sweet. Scout asked if her mommy would be okay, which was tragic, as we all know what’s coming.
Monaco convincingly played the part of a selfless, courageous woman who was about to undergo surgery to save another woman’s life. She didn’t make it all about her, as she downplayed her role in saving Lulu.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sam’s Supporters Are Still Very Vocal And Persistent
We don’t know how Dante will feel when Sam doesn’t make it through, but Lulu does. However, we can’t believe he would quickly forget Sam and the gift she gave Lulu.
The upcoming scenes in which Sam spends time in her hospital room with her mom, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), and daughter, Scout, are not to be missed.
Even though the show is terminating the character, Sam’s supporters are still very vocal. They have given her portrayer, Kelly Monaco, immense strength. Sam McCall will soon face a cruel fate.
However, the I Stand With Kelly fans made one last-ditch effort. They parked the “pheonix on wheels” truck outside the soap’s studio and are playing a loop video of Sam, who isn’t really dead.
They even included clips of Alexa Havens from other shows to add her to it. It was a suggestion for a storyline in which fans learn Sam isn’t dead.
A clip was posted on X with the caption reading,
“Due to Sam’s death already having been filmed, we expanded the “What If” promo to be a storyline with Danny and Dante figuring out she’s still alive. It showcases the resulting issues that come with Sam reclaiming her life, including the originally planned love triangle concept between Sante/Lulu and Sam’s conflicts with others in Port Charles.”
The show isn’t going to reverse its decision. However, Kelly tweeted,
“Thank you. Ya’ll are the best, most loyal people ever!! It doesn’t go unnoticed…. at least by me. Bravo!”
