‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers is saying Happy Birthday to Jon Lindstrom (Ryan Chamberlain)! Yesterday, on October 18th 2019 he celebrated his birthday making our boy a Libra! Being a Libra man, he is classy and refined, always elegant and well-groomed, with a tasteful eye filled with sophistication and quality. Libras want beauty and harmony in all things!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jon Lindstrom (Kevin Collins & Ryan Chamberlain) Has Something Huge To Celebrate!
His own personality differs so much from that of his character, Ryan Chamberlain, on ‘General Hospital’ that one could easily say that he’s very successful at playing against type, at least judging by zodiac sign. Lindstrom has a storied career dating all the way back to Santa Barbara when he played Mark McCormick and Generations when he played Paul Barre. (Anybody remember those two soaps? I do. I loved them both.. sigh, nostalgia!)
In 1992 is when he started playing Ryan Chamberlain, and then in 1993 is when he started playing the relatively mild mannered (in comparison) Kevin Collins. In 1997 GH had their spin-off Port Charles, in which he continued to play Dr. Kevin Collins with his leading lady Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) he stayed there until 2003, when the soap was cancelled. In 2004 he came back to GH for the funeral of Lila Quartermaine (Anna Lee). In 2008, he went to As the World Turns where he remained until it ended in 2010, he played Craig Montgomery, which earned him a Daytime Emmy Award Nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in the soap’s final year.
General Hospital Spoilers: Jon Lindstrom’s Roles
In 2013 he returned to GH as Kevin Collins and that’s where he’s been ever since. In 2018 he reprised his dual role of Ryan Chamberlain, much to our pleasure. Soaps are not the only thing in his repertoire, though! He has also been in several prime time television shows, namely, Blue Bloods, CSI Crime Scene Investigation, Drop Dead Diva, NCIS, and True Detective. Multi-talented like a true libra renaissance man, he’s also done behind the camera work, writing and directing How We Got Away With It.
He is a member of the band The High Lonesome. In 2014 he married his ATWT co-star, Cady McClain (Roseanne, Dixie from AMC), and considering how caring and compassionate Libras are towards their partners, a lucky woman she is indeed. Happy birthday to Jon, hope he has a great day. For any other soap opera and entertainment news, please visit Daily Soap Dish.
