‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that the impending return of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will shake things up between Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Carly Wants Drew to Move Forward
Drew is skating on thin ice with Carly because she wants him to let go of his revenge plot. Carly wants him to move forward, but he can’t let go of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
However, it does seem that they came to an understanding recently. All that can change if Nina goes after Carly and Drew through the Invader and publishes some dirt about them.
Nina is all in for revenge against Carly and Drew after Carly replaced Nina at Crimson, and Nina will stop at nothing to even the score.
Carly and Drew may work through their issues, but once Jason returns, Carly may just tell Drew, “Buh- bye.”
No one will be happier to see Jason than Carly, as they share a rich, complex history and many memories between them.
The two of them were even married, or so they thought until Sonny Corinthios (Maurice Benard) came home from Nixon Falls and unknowingly surprised them on their wedding night.
GH fans eagerly await Jason’s homecoming, and it will be interesting to see what happens with Drew and Carly when he reappears.
Seeing Jason could bring all those feelings back, as there had been a genuine spark between them before her not-so-dead husband returned.
When Sonny was gone, Carly explored the idea of a relationship and a real marriage with Jason. Jason has always meant a lot to her, so it isn’t much of a stretch to think they might make a formidable pair.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason and Carly Shared Something Special
Although many fans want Sonny and Carly back together, some viewers think that Jason is the true love of Carly’s life.
Jason and Carly shared a passionate lip-lock before their wedding. Fans haven’t forgotten, and it was very telling of how they felt about each other. They seemed enamored with each other, and the two of them shared something special.
Drew and Carly may not make it because it will be the moment of truth for her when Jason gets home. She has always put Sonny and Jason above everyone else in her life, and his homecoming will be no different.
The scenario is familiar to fans, as Drew once believed he was Jason due to him sharing Jason’s memories. He and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) fell in love, but the real Jason returned.
When Jason first returned, Drew thought he wasn’t Jason and the two clashed. Once it was proven that Jason was “the real deal,” Sam eventually broke up with him to be with Jason.
Now, it’s the same situation with Drew and Carly; at least this time, Drew knows who he is. Jason is poised to potentially break them up. And all he needs to do is reveal that he’s alive.
The new writers could easily spice things up and have Carly drawn to Jason romantically again, but still with Drew. A woman torn between two brothers seems incredibly soapy and delicious.
