‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers have been waiting for as the day Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) returns is drawling closer, and it looks like we’re only a few weeks away.
That is, according to Steve and Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli)’s guestimation on their Daily Drama podcast.
It’s always a question as to how far ahead the different shows shoot. ‘DOOL’ shoots six months, while it looks like GH shoots about one month.
This is good news for ‘General Hospital’ fans as it’s always good to have one of our favorites return, and we’re looking forward to finding out how Jason got out of being buried alive.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Steve Burton’s guestimation
After his shocking return and announcement at ‘General Hospital: 60 Years of Stars and Storytelling’ rumors buzzed about when Jason will come back and what kind of storylines will be waiting for him, the news died down a little bit.
But thanks to the magic of Steve and Bradford having their own podcast, they got to revive it with an unofficial update.
Steve said in his experience, it’ll be 3-4 weeks until he’ll get started as he hasn’t been given a start date yet.
“We can do some creative, fuzzy-ish math. I don’t know how far ahead GH is right now, but I can guess in my experience in life that it could be 3-4 weeks. But if I start in a couple of weeks, and we add four weeks to that, we’re going to have an estimated guess.”
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Spinelli will talk about Jason
Bradford talked about how he’s back filming some scenes, and Jason’s name is mentioned in his script.
“I noticed in my script that I do tomorrow, your name comes up. And I thought okay, that’s great, I love talking about you. I think it’s just reminding the audience which characters have connections… making it fresher in everybody’s mind again.”
Mentioning a character is usually a sign they’re coming back as it’ll start building our anticipation for their return.
There are so many ways they can bring Jason back and explain how he survived and where he’s been, but one thing ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers are hoping against is another amnesia storyline.
Since that’s been done to death on the show, we expect him to be held captive somewhere and maybe even brainwashed since he just had that happen on ‘Days of Our Lives’.
It’d be a cool nod to where he was on another show as well as explain where he’s even, even if they don’t do the brainwashing aspect and focus on putting Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) into making a tough choice.
