‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers disclose that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will return to Port Charles to find that his son, Danny Morgan’s (Asher Antonyzyn) leukemia has returned.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Julian Saved Danny the First Time
Danny may be in terrible shape by the time Jason comes home. The first time around, Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) father, Julian Jerome (William de Vry), was a bone match for Danny, and he saved Danny’s life.
True to villain form, Julian refused to bank any additional bone marrow for the boy in the event that his leukemia returned.
Sam’s father selfishly believed that once Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) saw that Julian was no longer needed, he would kill him.
Sam was unhappy with Julian for using his grandson to evade Sonny, but she was thankful he donated. Sam accepted Julian’s promise to donate more bone marrow if Danny needed it.
Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was also revealed to be a bone marrow match for Danny. His brother, Jason, could also be a match.
Jason has been gone from Port Charles for two years, supposedly trapped under the rubble of a collapsed tunnel.
However, what if Jason was hiding out somewhere, thinking he was someone else because of the impact of the tunnel collapse?
It could have caused a brain injury, and Jason forgot who he was again for all that time. He could have been living under another identity, wondering who he was.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason Remembers His True Identity and His Family
Unexpectedly, Jason has a dream, remembering his true identity and his family. He remembers that Sam is his soulmate. He immediately realizes he needs to be with Sam.
Much like the dream Sonny had when he was in Nixon Falls that led him back to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and his kids, Jason could have a dream that Danny is in trouble and needs his help.
Jason recognizes the child as his son and finds his way back to Port Charles to save him. Jason donates his bone marrow, and Danny lives.
Sam, still with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), resists Jason’s attempts to put the family back together. She still has a lot to work through, given that she believes she has moved on.
However, nothing is more powerful than family. Danny tries to get his parents back together. In the beginning, Sam isn’t budging.
Danny finds a way to convince his parents to spend more time together, as Danny wants to be with his family. Jason, Sam, Danny, and Scout Cain (Cossette Abinate) remember all the wonderful times they shared.
Dante realizes he can’t be with Sam because she is still in love with Jason, even if she has difficulty admitting to it.
He understands the unbreakable bond families share and steps aside so Jason and Sam can figure out their feelings.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason and Sam reunite
Jason and Sam eventually find their way back to each other. They remarry at the same Chinese restaurant, Noodle Buddha, where they were married in 2011.
Danny remains happy and healthy, thanks to Jason donating his bone marrow. The Morgans finally become the family they were always meant to be.
