‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason Wants Another Shot of Happily Ever After with Sam
Spoilers hint that Jason will want another chance with his soulmate, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). The last time we saw Jason, he was heartbroken over losing his sort of girlfriend, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Then he lost his sort of wife, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Granted, he basically handed Carly over to Sonny when the mob boss unexpectedly showed up on Carly and Jason’s wedding night. The two of them were shocked, but ultimately, Carly was still Mrs. Corinthos.
Now, it’s almost three years after the fact, and Jason has had some time to think. Maybe he was trapped and couldn’t come home, but he realized that all he wanted was his family back.
Jason never gave any indication that he would leave his life as a mob enforcer. His loyalty to Sonny is the very reason why he and Sam broke up years ago.
However, Jason being away from Sam and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) for so long helped him put everything into perspective.
He spent a lot of time away from his loved ones and now just wants to live a better life. Jason has come to understand the importance of family and what it means for him to have that.
He shares a child with Sam, and the two of them were once very much in love. But Sam is now with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) Would Sam just dump Dante the minute Jason returns to Port Charles?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sam is With Dante…. For Now
Dante and Sam have something special and have become a loving, solid couple. However, the pull of Jason promising to give up the mob life may be just what Sam has always wanted to hear.
The couple had somewhat fizzled out, and ultimately, they couldn’t stay together. However, Sam and Jason will always love each other, and a reunion between them, especially under a new set of circumstances, would be interesting to see play out.
Sam isn’t the same woman she used to be when she was with Jason, which is why it would be difficult to picture the two of them together unless something drastically changed.
JaSam fans came to a crossroads a couple of years back when Sam and Jason first broke up. The characters were growing apart, and Sam ended things with Jason because she didn’t want his unpredictable and dangerous life to affect the kids anymore.
The two of them forged relationships with others. Jason started to fall in love with Britt and then Carly. And Sam fell in love with Dante.
That being said, in the land of soap operas, two characters can be soulmates but still have meaningful romantic relationships with other characters.
It isn’t difficult to imagine that sooner or later, JaSam fans could be in for a real treat. Jason becoming more of a strictly family man down the line doesn’t seem too far-fetched if you consider that once upon a time, Jason was strictly a Quartermaine. Stranger things have happened.
