‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that at this point it’s safe to say that actor Bryan Craig will not be returning to Port Charles. Even though there are plenty of fans out there that would love to see him back in Port Charles, Bryan has made it pretty clear that he is moving onwards and upwards and that he wants to focus on having a career in the prime time television world instead. With that said, a lot of people can’t help but wonder if his old character of Morgan Corinthos should be recast on ‘General Hospital’. Here’s what you need to know.

Even though it’s been several long years since we’ve last seen Morgan Corinthos on the small screen, his name keeps on getting mentioned on almost a weekly basis. As a matter of fact, his parents Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) are still mourning the death of their beloved son and especially now that they have a new member of the family. But then again is Morgan really did? That’s what fans want to know.

‘General Hospital’ News: Should Morgan Corinthos Get A Recast?
Earlier this year there was some talk about a possible Morgan Corinthos recast. Since Bryan Craig doesn’t want to take his old job back, there was speculation that another daytime television actor like Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera on Days of Our Lives) would take over the role. In fact, Bryan even seemed to give his blessing to Billy, suggesting that he would be a perfect fit for the new Morgan.
With the reappearance of Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Colomo) and the role going to a new actor, there’s a strong possibility that ‘General Hospital’ producers might consider bringing back Morgan Corinthos, but with a new actor, too. So far actor Marcus Colomo has been getting great reviews in his Port Charles debut with a lot of fans excited to see what he will bring to the character. Morgan might also get the same fresh start with a fresh character and of course, a fresh new story line. It’s without a doubt that Carly Corinthos would be thrilled to see her son alive and well again. Do you agree?
