With everything that’s happening in Port Charles lately, it got ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers thinking about a couple of possible outcomes for a couple characters.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is trying his hardest to win back Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)’s approval and love without any success.
While Sonny’s getting lambasted by many fans, we totally get his point of view.
He found out his son wanted to throw in him prison for life and hired someone to infiltrate his organization, then his son and wife paid for his protection and treated him like he can’t handle his own business, and then Michael kept the news about Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)’s betrayal from him.
Add in Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) showing up after two plus years without a word, and there’s no reason for Sonny to trust Michael or anyone.
The only one besides Nina that’s never judged him is Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), and he’s the only one Sonny can trust and for good reason.
But Michael will get his.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – On borrowed time
While Sonny’s the one taking all the flak for others betraying him, Michael is going to have his own moment of truth and it’s going to be interesting to see how the show handles it.
We’re referring to Michael trying to have Sonny sent to prison for life, and that’s not going to sit well with Jason no matter how much Michael helped him.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers thinks Jason will understand Sonny’s position and won’t agree with Michael or Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy)’s to sell Sonny out.
Because of that, Jason may be on the outs with Sonny, but he won’t turn on him and he may take issue with Michael’s shenanigans.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Is Michael forgiven?
Learning about Michael’s attempt will add to Jason’s burden as he’ll have to choose between his loyalty to Sonny and Michael for helping him.
While Michael’s reasoning may make sense and Jason could go the extra yard work to understand and forgive Michael, but should he?
That’ll be a definite afront to Sonny if he does, and depending on their relationship it’ll make things even more strained.
There’s little doubt Sonny will believe Jason if he hadn’t gotten hit with a hundred betrayals after another.
Now, it’s going to be a harder sell, especially since there is no excuse for Jason not to get a burner phone and call someone since he was largely free.
We expect his reasoning will be he didn’t want to pull any of them into his trouble, but that feels a little weak.
