‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers finds that Ingo Rademacher has done it again. The ‘General Hospital’ actor, who has been on the show since 1996, has been slammed by his castmates for posting a transphobic social media message.
The actor, who has been very vocal about his anti-vaccination stance, reposted a tweet on his Instagram account calling Rachel Levine, the U.S. assistant secretary for health, a “dude.” Of course, it didn’t take very long for his co-stars to respond to the matter and ‘General Hospital’ viewers, too. Rademacher, who plays Jasper Jacks on the hit ABC soap, reposted a tweet on his Instagram account calling Rachel Levine, the U.S. assistant secretary for health, a “dude.” The Biden-appointed U.S. assistant secretary for health was recently sworn in as the first transgender four-star officer.
Needless to say, it didn’t take very long for ‘General Hospital’ fans to weigh in on the matter. Many of them took to social media to write, “I obviously agree with Nancy Lee Grahn. There is no room for bigotry in our society. She didn’t mix words which I was surprised. Don’t miss understand, I agree with Cassandra but NLG just buried Ingo,” along with, “Misgendering trans folks may be an offence, but it’s not violence. Words have meaning. Anyone have a feeling that Ingo Rademacher is going to be on 45’s upcoming streamer as a new job?”
Another fan wrote, “It’s a shame he is so ignorant and doesn’t care he’s putting his co-workers at risk for refusing to be vaccinated. He has the medical freedom to not be vaccinated, but he doesn’t have the medical freedom to put other people’s health and safety at risk. Glad ABC and ‘General Hospital’ are getting rid of the ignorant ones who put other people’s lives at risk. Choices have consequences. Don’t even get me started with his transphobic post, that’s even worse.”
So far producers of ‘General Hospital’ has not made any comments about the issue.
