General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, January 8 reveal Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) put their plan in motion. Meanwhile, we think Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) just made a huge mess for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to clean up. Plus, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) pays Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) a visit. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, January 8: Big reveal?
First, Trina and Kai make a huge realization about who shot Drew. General Hospital spoilers reveal they have a plan in place to get to the truth. After emotionally manipulating Giovanni Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and weaponizing his trauma, he’s agreed to help. We want to say this will end this whole drama right here. However, we doubt it. Even if they do hear the same ringtone for Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) phone, that doesn’t prove anything. He and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) could share the same ringtone for their son. In fact, some fans pointed out that Willow might not have only had the idea, but chose the song. So, we just don’t trust this will be definitive.
General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, January 8: Told you so…
In not at all shocking new, Drew loses his cool. Alexis was firm about not wanting him on the stand. However, Drew thinks he knows everything. When he inevitably melts down, we’re sure it’s going to cause a massive stir in the courtroom.
This will cause Alexis to make a risky legal move. Given she’s talking to Willow about turning something around, we think Willow gets called to the stand after all. And it’s all because of Drew. He’ll make such a mess, Alexis will have no choice but to do whatever possible to salvage this thing. And we’re sure that, if things go wrong, Drew will put every bit of blame on Alexis, despite her warnings.
General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, January 8: Reconnecting
Finally, Brook Lynn reconnects with Sonny. In the promo, she’s visiting what looks like his home. Sonny tells her, “You got to believe it.” We assume he’s talking about Gio and his relationship with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Things have turned around for her and Gio. However, the rift is still there with Dante, and she wants things to be better between them. Although, we believe Sonny will advise against taking any active or obvious role in making that happen. He’ll likely tell her that these things take time and she has to let them find their way, just like he and Dante had to.
