‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for Monday, July 8 reveal Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) makes it official. Plus, we’ll see Laura Collins (Genie Francis) once more defending her choices. Plus, there could be a problem between Drew and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Here’s what you need to know.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For Monday, July 8: And so it begins…
First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate Drew makes his candidacy official. He’ll give credit to those close to him for enabling him to do this at the official announcement.
There will clearly be a party after for the Q family, as Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is in the promo wearing a campaign button. And, by the way, she’s not happy with someone on the guest list. That should liven up what’s likely to be a bit of a boring scene.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For Monday, July 8: On the defensive
As for Laura, she’s back to defending her stance on Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) situation. She’ll tells Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), Mac Scorpio (John J. York), and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) she’s putting her faith in expert opinions. Obviously, Mac will have issue with this after getting caught up.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For Monday, July 8: Problems
As for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), he thinks Sam is doing something that will make her look like she has secrets to hide. Teasers say Sam is frustrated with Drew, so we believe this is about him running for public office.
The last thing she needs right now is extra scrutiny. But we see why Dante is saying what he did. The more she puts up a fight or hides, the more guilty she’ll look. We imagine Sam will be even less thrilled with all this when she learns about that idea to take their daughter on the campaign trail.
She’s been the only parent, so it would be logical for Sam to not like the idea of their daughter being away. Especially to help prop up Drew’s campaign.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For Monday, July 8: Bonding
Finally, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) thinks something will end in disaster. Since she and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are supposed to have a heart-to-heart, we assume that’s who Sasha is speaking to here. As for what they’re talking about, take your pick!
There’s the idea of the hate sex between her and Drew coming out to possibly distract the campaign. They could also be talking about the fallout from that Invader exposé. It definitely had an impact on Crimson as well, and who knows where else this might go?
