General Hospital spoilers relate that today GH celebrates its 56th anniversary! So with that, a special episode is in order! The episode will be filled with flashbacks, and Denise Alexander will be reprising her role as Dr. Lesley Webber. She will have a lot of catching up to do with Dr. Monica Quartermaine! The old school fans will definitely have something to look forward to!

Epiphany will reassure Elizabeth that even though Franco is definitely not on her list of favorites, that she knows how much Elizabeth loves him and that no matter what the members of GH are a team and she’s got her back no matter what. (Such sisterhood! I’m verklempt, talk amongst yourselves!) Amid all the backbiting and scheming, it’s nice to see some sentiments of true friendship sneak through every now and again. Hats off to you, Epiphany!

Alexis will gather everyone for Dr. Gail Baldwin’s final bequest to GH, she tells Laura that there was a long list of people that were asked to be there, and Gail’s final wishes are full of surprises, including Julian Jerome who is mystified by this request, but Alexis will assure him that there’s a method to the madness. There is going to be a big announcement that will affect most of the GH characters and everyone needs to gather ’round and listen. Gail had some especially sweet parting words for Scott, ones that will leave him deeply moved. Felicia and Bobby will have a good time talking about days gone by, even share a hug!
Maxie, Sonny, and Mac will also be in attendance. We get to see a sweet moment between Lucy and Kevin, if anyone remembers them from back in the day it’ll be a great moment for them. Kevin is worried that his presence at the bequest may upset people but Lucy assures him that it’s okay, it’s where he belongs.

Laura will see just how much Lucy cares about Kevin, but Laura has proven that she cares too—after all, she posted his $150K bail without batting an eye! Looks like someone is owed a hearty thank you from Kevin! Which she will most definitely get in the form of a heartwarming moment between her and Kevin. Looks like GH is serving up the feels for it’s 56th anniversary! Stay tuned!!!
