‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Willow Tait Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) may have passed the point of no return and is irredeemable to many viewers.
Willow has made numerous questionable choices in the past few months. It began with that forbidden kiss on the fourth of July.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The Infamous Video Of Drew And Willow
Willow carried on an emotional affair with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) for months until she had sex with him in Scout Quartermaine’s (Cosette Abinate) playroom at the Quartermaine mansion.
When a video of this sleazy encounter played for all to see at the Quartermaine Christmas party, Willow was furious with her husband, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), for knowing she slept with Drew and not telling her.
Then, she took Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) to Grandma Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) home and didn’t take the children to see their father on Christmas.
Upon taking the kids and leaving to go to Washington, D.C., to be with her lover, she actually wondered why Michael filed for divorce and full custody.
When Michael was almost killed in a fire at Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) penthouse, Willow allowed Drew to talk her into using her role as Michael’s medical proxy as a bargaining chip with Sonny and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Willow has also been extremely cruel to her former friend, Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson). Sasha has repeatedly attempted to call Willow out for her actions.
We could continue listing Willow’s disgusting and selfish transgressions all day. Still, we’ll stop at the part where she bumped uglies with Drew in the bed she shared with her husband. She was explicitly told that Drew was no longer permitted on Quartermaine’s property.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Willow Is A Member Of “Dawn Of Drew”
All that being said, we do believe that because of Willow’s past in the cult, Dawn of Day, she’s brainwashed by Drew to an astounding and horrifying degree.
We’ve seen other people almost get through to her before drew rushes in to distort her mental clarity. Drew seems to have some substantial control over Willow to the absurd extent of black magic wizardry.
Her whole relationship with Drew looks like she’s helplessly trapped in a cult. Willow appears to idolize Drew. No matter how many people try to warn her away from him, she won’t listen.
Even Nina is the voice of reason, telling her she shouldn’t move in with Drew so quickly. Willow’s reaction is always like watching a light bulb that doesn’t turn on completely.
She understands at first but then sees Drew and suddenly can’t think for herself. Her marriage to Micheal can’t be salvaged. However, that doesn’t mean she needs to rush and move with her kids to his place. Making that change would be not only detrimental to her but also for her children.
Willow needs a ton of therapy and a hefty dose of self-awareness before she can enter into another commitment. She needs to spend time on her own and focus on her children.
Most importantly, she needs to open her eyes and see Drew for who he really is. Her small, tiny window for redemption depends on her ending her romance with Drew.
