Chinese film producer, who was set to work with DB Weiss and David Benioff on the new Game of Thrones sequel, House of Dragons, has died at age 39. He got sick and was admitted to the hospital on Dec. 16th, 2020, then on Dec. 17th 2020, someone from the hospital called the police to report his condition. It seemed to deteriorate pretty quickly.

Quin was CEO of Yoozoo group which he founded in 2009. He had also produced a series called “The Three Body Problem” which he also worked alongside Benioff and Weiss with, as well as on the Game of Thrones franchise.

On Dec. 17th 2020 at 5PM, police received a call from the hospital reporting the producer’s condition and began their investigation right then and there. The only thing we really know is that they have tracked down a suspect by the surname of Xu, they have been arrested.

Also, right now it is said that there was a confrontation that arose and that the poisoning was a result from that argument. Apparently it was done by way of the pu-erh cup of tea that Qui had every morning, or at least that’s the prevalent theory going around.

So what on earth could have happened to make someone that angry at this particular producer? Well, we don’t exactly know yet and who knows if we ever will, considering all of the criminal proceedings are happening in China and not in the US.

In the US something like this would be sensationalized, but in China they may not do that. We’re not sure how much of this case will actually be public knowledge, considering its going to be tried in China, and with the pandemic going on there’s probably going to be even tighter lockdown on such cases than there was before, so, we just hope that justice is served for the family, they sure did track down a suspect soon.

So, that can only be a good thing, but… you have to admit, my, what a Targaryen turn of events! …What, too soon? Yeah, sorry. Stay tuned!!!
