Amber Heard‘s new PR guru David Shane isn’t exactly the perfect guy to hire for the job. Shane has had to leave two jobs after sexual harassment claims against him and he allegedly paid a ‘provocatively’ dressed woman to attend a tech event with him.
One woman has even claimed that he tried to pressure her to have sex with him after they met on a dating app.
Heard hired Shane last month to help push a negative picture of Johnny Depp as a drunk and woman-abuser, however, it turns out he is exactly the kind of person he is describing! Sexual harassment is just the beginning of it, as he’s also had alcohol-related crimes!

He is well known in PR circles as ‘Hurricane Shane’ and ‘the walking #MeToo case of the PR world.’ Remember the alcohol-related crimes? Well, turns out he has also had two, TWO, DUIs. One in 2010, and the other in 2012. These are obviously very embarrassing as he’s trying to pin Johnny as an alcoholic who needs help, when he clearly has been doing the same things.
One of the alleged victims of Shane spoke to DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview about him saying, “Shane tried to force her to give him oral sex after she met him on Raya, a dating app for the rich, famous and well-connected.”
Now, the man who has been assigned to help Heard, is damaging her credibility (whatever was left of it), and his own lawyer had to reach out to DailyMail to say, “It’s easy to get distracted by anonymous, false accusations, but the focus should be on the merits of the defamation case pending in Fairfax County, Virginia and the relevant facts presented at trial.”
It seems Shane was the perfect man to hire for the job if you were trying to lose your case.
