Shane Dawson is sort of like that bad toilet clog that just won’t go down, no matter how many times you flush, it’s still there, or at least that’s the way a lot of his former fans are feeling right now. He made an announcement on the community tab of his ShaneGlossin channel saying that he had been getting creative again and he had even edited fiancé Ryland Adams’ new video.
This led to a bunch of people commenting on his channel saying, “Not you coming back just as David Dobrik is getting cancelled.” and “You just saw this as an opportunity to come back now that the attention isn’t on you.”

It’s clear to see that no one really wants Shane back. Honestly, while he may be making a return to editing, I can’t see Shane being in front of the camera for a long time.
Maybe I’m wrong but now that he’s been called out and cancelled so many times, I think the hate that he would get for showing his face in a video or even attempting to make content in his old style, it would get way too much hate and he wouldn’t be able to legitimately enjoy any kind of comeback he made to the internet. If no one wants him back, then, it’s clear that he should stay gone, for a good long while.
According to Jeffree Star, Shane is now his best friend and he is ‘living’, because according to him a lot of his fans have come forward to ask about Shane’s well-being. That’s something when Jeffree Star fans are more accepting of Shane’s comeback than Shane’s own former fans at this point, but I guess that just proves that by now, Jeffree’s fans are used to epic cancellations and drama, they brush it off and don’t care and laugh about what their favorite guru is being cancelled for this week.
Whereas Shane’s fans… I’m not sure when the betrayal will ever end for them. They’re still mad because Shane ended up choosing Jeffree over Trisha Paytas, whom he had been friends with for 12 years, as opposed to only being friends with Jeffree for 3.
A little bit of tea, recently in a tiktok Tricia Paytas revealed that Shane had, at one point asked her to marry him and Ryland. However she said now that Jeffree should officiate that wedding because according to her, “They are the trio of evil, and the devil should officiate.” Go off, sis! Stay tuned!!!
