Before the DC Universe App is gone and all the shows go to HBO Max, which is what sounds like will be happening, DC Universe is premiering another show alongside ‘Titans’ and ‘Doom Patrol’, and that is ‘Stargirl’. ‘Stargirl’ follows teenager Courtney Whitmore as she joins the Justice Society of America. The series stars Brec Bassinger in the lead role as Courtney/Stargirl as well as Luke Wilson!
On DC Universe’s official Instagram page, they shared a little clip from the show featuring Wilson’s character, Pat, as he and two others are about to get struck down by a crazy guy with a sword. We can only imagine that Stargirl isn’t far from this situation. Take a look at the clip below that was uploaded with the following caption,
“Careful with that sword! ⚔️ An all-new #DCUSTARGIRL is now streaming on #DCUNIVERSE.”

The series has been well received already and boasts a 7.3 rating on IMDB, which is pretty decent for superhero series on a streaming platform! Viewers of the show seem to enjoy it, commenting, “So good!”, “When the trailers for this show first came out, I figured it’d be “cute.” The first episode surprised me with how good it was, and every episode since has gotten better and better. This one blew me away!! And LOTS of feels! Titans/Teen Titans are some of my favorite comics so the characters on the show Titans are close to my heart, but this show is better overall.”, and “This show gives me hope for the arrow verse shows”.
