Get ready to muddle! This week, HBO returns with another prohibition cocktail how-to to promote their new series ‘Perry Mason’. It’s been a fun way to not only promote the show, but also learn some interesting history about cocktails and how to make them.
So what do cocktails and ‘Perry Mason’ have in common? The idea is that the series is set back in the days of prohibition and that a lot of new drinks were made around that time or older drinks were learned by bootleggers and speakeasy owners. It’s an interesting tie in but fun no doubt. Check out the video below that was uploaded with the following description,
“Watch new episodes of Perry Mason, starring Emmy winner Matthew Rhys, Sundays at 9PM on HBO. Based on characters created by Erle Stanley Gardner, this drama series follows the origins of American Fiction’s most legendary criminal defense lawyer, Perry Mason. When the case of the decade breaks down his door, Mason’s relentless pursuit of the truth reveals a fractured city and just maybe, a pathway to redemption for himself.”
