‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers suggest that more happened the night Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) and Johnny DiMera met at the bar than casual conversation.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Johnny Thought Chanel Slept With Alex
When Johnny meets Joy, he is convinced that his wife, Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens), is cheating on him with her Body and Soul co-star, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).
Johnny, Chanel, and Alex have all been working together on the soap-within-a-soap. When the show shot at the hospital, he was warned not to walk into a particular room because “Faith” and “Arrow” were “rehearsing” a bit too realistically.
Johnny didn’t listen and walked in on who he thought was Chanel and Alex, but it was Alex and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klien). He quietly closed the door and walked out, not saying anything to Chanel.
A few nights later, he was at Small Bar drinking and wallowing in self-pity, and Joy sat beside him. She initially started a conversation, which annoyed Johnny, but the two seemed to hit it off.
The next day, Joy’s Mom, Nancy Miller Wesley (Patrika Darbo), found a wedding band in Joy’s room and confronted her daughter.
Joy really didn’t want to talk to her Mom about what happened, but she ended up telling her that the wedding band belonged to a man whose wife was cheating on him.
Nancy wasn’t thrilled about the situation and warned her daughter to stop messing around with a married man because it would cause her nothing but pain.
Little does Johnny know that Joy auditioned with Chanel for Body and Soul, and the part is as good as hers. They had a good rapport, and both women were excited about how well Joy performed the script.

Chanel also doesn’t know that the new soap actress hooked up with her husband. We suspect that’s what happened, even though we never actually saw them together.
It’s possible that Johnny and Joy sat at that bar and drank together all night. Perhaps after they drank a couple of beers and became more comfortable with each other, they switched to shots.
They may have decided to take the party to Joy’s hotel room, and Johnny made a drunken, foolish mistake. Chanel went out of her way to plan a surprise birthday party for Johnny, and he stepped out on her.
If Joy were to have Johnny’s child, it would be a devastating blow to Chanel. She’s still grieving the loss of her child, and if it’s true that Johnny and Joy slept together, Joy could be carrying a bundle of bliss, who just happens to be a next-generation DiMera.
There would be no way for Janel to come back from something that would hurt Chanel that much. Joy may be starting her soap career as an expectant mother. How would Leo Stark (Greg Rikkart) write for that?
