‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Johnny Believes Chanel Slept With Alex On Set
Fans have been clamoring for the show to end already. The consensus is that the soap-within-a-soap takes time away from the actual drama on Days.
We had an action-packed week this week. Fiona Cook (Serena Scott Thomas) admitted that she ran down Sarah Kiriakis (Lindsey Godfrey) when she was driving drunk.
Of course, there was also the marriage of Fake Abigail (AnnaLynn McCord) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and the reveal that she’s an imposter.
The week of October 14th to 18th gave viewers tremendous satisfaction as the drama was heightened and resolutions were made. A week of classic soap stories resulted in a very entertaining, high-quality fireworks show.
The week of October 21st appears to be inundated with more Body and Soul drama as Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) scrambles to salvage the show after a scandal erupts behind the scenes.
Johnny DiMera continues to believe that his wife, Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens), cheated on him with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), and those allegations are about to come to light.
Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) will sense there’s trouble in paradise, and she’ll confront Abe Carver (James Reynolds) over hiring Alex to play Chanel’s on-screen love interest. That’s one impending issue.
There is also the secret that Alex and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klien) slept together on set at the hospital. Leo will be responsible for investigating the incident.
He won’t know it was Alex and Stephanie, but he’ll need to diffuse the situation as best he can. Leo will think Hattie’s curse has ruined his soap.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Nancy Brings Her Daughter, Joy To Audition For Body And Soul
Spoilers indicate that Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) and her daughter, Joy Wesley (Alex Ann Hopkins), will return to Salem next week.
For those Days fans who don’t remember, Joy was the daughter of Nancy and Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas). The former couple had her to save their other daughter, Chloe Lane (Nadja Borlin). She had leukemia and needed bone marrow.
Thankfully, Joy was able to save Chloe’s life. Hopefully, we will learn more about Chloe, what she’s up to, and why she didn’t return to Salem with her mother and little sister.
The last time fans saw Joy, she was a little girl played by Aisling Acuna. Joy and her parents left town in 2005. When Nancy returned in 2022, she discovered her husband of thirty years was gay, and the two divorced.
Nancy will push for Joy to get a part in Body and Soul. Spoilers hint that Joy may catch Johnny’s eye, and she’ll land a part on the soap.
Spoilers predict that once the writer change takes effect, Body and Soul may be canceled. Frank Valentini left as head writer. The new writers will be Paula Cwikly and Jeanne Marie Ford. Both have experience in daytime TV.
Body and Soul’s cancellation would please many Days fans who want their soap free from the tongue-in-cheek “inside” joke.
