‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers: Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) was both devastated and furious when he learned that the woman he married wasn’t really Abigail DiMera (Marcy Miller), but an imposter named Cat Greene (AnnaLynn McCord) working with Clyde Weston (James Read).

That being said, Cat isn’t a heartless villainess. She’s also a victim of Clyde’s machinations. Clyde blackmailed Cat to trick Chad into believing she was Abigail to get his hands on the DiMera fortune. If Cat refused, Clyde told her he would kill her mother, Catherina Meleounis (Ellie Patrikios).
Now that Chad knows the truth, the two of them are currently embarking on a mission to bring down Clyde. Cat has agreed to help Chad unearth Abigail’s remains. In return, Chad helps Cat discover what has happened to her mother.
In addition, JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) are working together to help Chad and Cat by posing as decoys to lure Clyde into a trap.
Since Clyde wants Cat in exchange for the location of his dead wife’s body, Chad has decided to use Cat as bait to nail Clyde to the wall.
Even though Chad has been tough on Cat ever since he learned she’s not Abigail, Cat has developed real feelings for Chad, and there may be a path forward for these two to fall in love. Chad must accept Cat and let go of his misguided hope that Abigail is still out there somewhere.
Cat is putting herself in danger to help Chad, so that’s a promising start. Chad and Cat are in for some twists and turns when it comes to Clyde, so perhaps if Cat steps up and succeeds in gaining the information Chad wants, he could end up being impressed with her.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Chad May See Cat In A New Light
Another way they could get together is if Catharina is really killed. Chad can finally see that Cat didn’t have a choice when she duped Chad into believing she was Abigail.
Sometimes, it takes a tragedy to bring people together, and if Chad realizes Cat is grieving too, they could lean on each other. This could lead to Chad forgiving Cat for her deception.
On the other hand, if Catharina is rescued, he can see how much Cat truly adores her mom and be touched by their sweet reunion.
Chad could also see Cat bond with her siblings, which may prompt him to see her in a new light. Cat will try to repair the relationship between her and Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo). Felicity Greene (Kennedy Garcia), and he can see that Cat is a good person deep down.
Unfortunately, Chad already knows the lengths her brother, Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson), went to do Clyde’s bidding. Mark almost killed Chad, so there may be no coming back from that.
Chad needs to open his heart to someone. Cat may be the right person for him since he now knows Abigail is truly gone. We think that when Chad moves forward, it will be with Cat.
